The bolt that holds the yoke together fits through the splines as soon as the lock plate is slid out saving you from taking the bolt and lock washer out.
Did you not put the new bearing facing the wrong way round? The original one had the thick rubber facing the front of the van. Its designed that way so as to protect the bearing and not to collect dust etc from road? Good video still!!
Hey yeah I did it did swap it around because snow gets behind it and sits there and destroys the bearing so I switch the boot the other way and it lasts a lot longer, the other side still had dust seals although obviously it's not as robust
