    Kenya's independence constitution was partly written by first US Black Chief Justice Thurgood Marshall who was friends with Kenya Nationalists Jomo Kenyatta, Oginga Odinga and Tom Mboya .
    Tom Mboya was a Keynote speaker at the March in Washington in 1963 and close friends of Dr. Martin Luther King, Harry Belafonte ,Andrew Young, Sidney Poitier, Ralph Abernathy and other black civil rights leaders .
    The Kenyan Nationalists and US Black Civil rights leaders set up resources to help educate Black Kenyans denied higher education opportunities by white before Independence in 1963 .
    Hence Obama father to Harvard .

    You should cross the border in to Tanzania and see the cultural similarities around the lake Victoria.

    The Banyoro were ruled by the Luo-Babito in Uganda hence the borrowed words from Nilotic Luo like twins .
    The Luo-Babito assumed Kingship and rulership of Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom after the Bachwezi fled and had almost a 500 year legacy that also provided rulerships for the Baganda .
    The Luo-Babito Kingdom is a case study for major history departments on Black/African history including Harvard and Oxford where Okot P’Bitek Ugandan Luo-Acholi Lawyer and Poet wrote his dissertations on the assimilation of the Langi into Luo .

    • @papd3532
      @papd3532 Месяц назад

      The Luo-Babito initiated the Abakama Kings adopting local bantu dialects to effect their rulership.This lasted 18 generations .
      After the death of Omukama Tito Owinyi in 1971 the Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom as ruled by the Luo-Babito ended following its 1967 dissolution by the Uganda government and later 1971 by Idi Amin .

    • @papd3532
      @papd3532 Месяц назад +1

      The Luo Babito Kingdom that controlled Bunyoro Kitara for almost 5 centuries was led by the Luo-Jo Bito clan. The Jo-Bito come from the Bito tree .
      This group had moved from Bukidi in Northern Uganda originally occupying Tekidi in Agora mountains .

    • @papd3532
      @papd3532 Месяц назад

      The success of the Luo-Babito Kingdom was replicated in Buganda and US President Roosevelt would soon visit in 1909 and was stunned at the level of organization that he found in Buganda taking the same principles to influence US democracy .

This whole business of how they relate to Barack Obama is not necessary because we can easily access that from elsewhere. SHOW US AS MUCH OF THE HOMESTEAD AND THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE AS POSSIBLE. The US president we can find elsewhere! SHOW US THE HOMESTEAD, WHO LIVES THERE and HOW THEY LIVE THEIR LIFE , CHALLENGES, ETC

      Not with the Westerners (Americans/Europeans) who don't have communal "debt" to pay as Africans do. After all, government systems in those societies work well and individuals are not obligated to fund communal projects.
      With Obama it was even trickier due to constant scrutiny from political opponents while in office. His ancestral kin were cognisant of that fact that he was an American president whose priority was to his country and citizens.

    I think we still have the people living at Kogelo, the home associated with former President Barack Obama. They should rethink how to preserve the family home for historic purposes now and for future generations.
    The compound is large enough but lacks landscaping, and design to show the decency, and hospitality to the home.
    Dr.Auma has left things awkwardly scattered and animals and birds all over.
    If the former President Barack Obama wishes to visit, it will take money and good workers to put the home to a better standard.
    I think we can do better.
    Yes, we live in big cities, yet we can make our rural family homes more serene and hospitable.
    In comparison to RAOs family home, Kogelo is below any standard of rating.
    I am sorry.
    I call a spade its name. I'm a descendant of a paramount chief in Luhyaland, Shivachi.
    I often tell people that my Mama was royal, and I am a princess.
    I have taught my kids to embrace leadership and management of ourselves to depict who we are descendants of.
    I am not mean, but Obamas, clean up and organize the beautiful home.

    Correction: Lake Nalubaale (named Victoria by colonialists after a white woman who never set foot on the continent) is the biggest freshwater lake in the WORLD. Those Wazungu say it is Lake Superior just to make themselves superior over Africa and Africans!

    Why hasn't he built a house in honor his father? Father must be turning in his grave for a powerful son who's forgotten about his legacy 😮

    Stop taking us for the ride. This is not Obama's house. His houses are in the US. Kwanini mnatafuta kiki kienyeji hivi? If Obama came to Kenya to vie for even becoming an MP, they would not have allowed him. Our African countries are hypocritical. When a person succeeds, even if he or she doesn't belong to them, they will start priding themselves that they are connecting to that person. The same applies to Indians. Who doesn't know how Indians discriminate against their host Africans. Now, that Kamala Harris a Jamaican with African pedigree is running, they are all pretending to be her relatives while in actual practice she is an outcast since her father is black. Opportunism at best.
