Just some Sim tips and answers to your questions: You can move at any time, just go to the phone or computer and select move household, you can take the furniture with you and it will be in the household inventory or you can choose to sell it and get new furniture once you move. Lastly, windenburg and San Myshuno(the city) have the most things to do especially date wise and you can choose to travel to any world so you don't just have to go to places in windenburg. The city also has festivals that come and go and you will get a notification when each one comes to the city, certain districts host certain festivals. Hopefully you see this and I hope it helps!
Oh also there are lot traits! if you go to build mode it will be in the upper left and you can choose 3 traits, this applies to apartments as well but certain apartments will have 1 trait that you can't change.
Also in build mode to get things closer to the wall you can hold "alt" to go outside of the grid you can also use the cheat "bb.moveobjects" which helps with house building a lot. pressing "g" will turn off the grids..
Also when building, if you don't want an item any more you can just hit the delete key while it's in your hand, you don't have to actually drag it all the way to the sell box at the bottom

Alfie made a hamburger cake and a mac and cheese all while there was fruitcake in his inventory! Also, try not to make the sims eat if they don't need to, they put on weight if they continue to eat when their bar is full. They can move to any world in Sims 4 just by clicking on the phone/computer and selecting move. Or, as others have said, you can evict them and place them again on the kinda edit world screen. Love these video series! When they go on a real date it would be cool if they went to a restaurant. :)

You can move and go to any world/neighbourhood whenever you want to. On the next episode you can move to San Myshuno to a flat that has to units available so you can live on the same building, I think that's the best idea. I was talking about this in the comment section of the livestream and so were many people. Please wait to San Myshuno 🙏🏻
You can move. If you go on the mobile phone at the bottom of the screen, then in one of the options, there should be a move household option. Click that and then you can move wherever you want. Hope you notice this and I love your series so far!
Try going on a date at a restaurant if you have the dine out expansion! They are the best dates. They shut at a table and talk and hardly move besides when need to user the toilet. The goals are easier to fulfill
