      A needle and thread is always a good option, but this should help to keep it waterproof. Xv

    I just used ripstop tape with some aleenes fabric fusion glue. Worked on a huge rip in my pants. Good for a few more seasons I hope.

    Thanks, amazing as always! For fast fixes I use Gorilla Clear tape*. Maybe there are other and better brand products, though i have roll of this one and seems it will last for a long time. Even used once on the mountain, where tear happened, stays put for many years since.
    * They offer patches too, but i made patches by gluing tape from roll on some sticker wax paper. My DIY patch method has one disadvantage - seems like glue dries out or just changes after a few years, oxygen gets through that paper?

    Hi! Love you’re videos. I have one question and that is how often do you change board? / How long lifetime does your boards have? :)

      @XVDLR  2 года назад

      Hi Otto - not sure how I got totally wrong reply to you - but here is what I wanted to say! I would usually ride my board full on for a full season, but I ride them hard.
      It depends on the brands but my boards are a bit heavier but super durable.
      So it depends how you ride them but I would say a few seasons for sure. Xv

    What if the tear is in the outer of two layers? How to repair it if you Can’t access it from the inside?. You know, the protection pads pants have at the ankle level to prevent cutting them with the edge of the ski (which never completely works). Snow gets inside those two layers and creates horrible snow/ice balls inside!

      Hmmm - good question, we don't have that problem with snowboarding but I know what you mean... I guess it would have to be on the outside... but will definitely not be so neat, but at least you wouldn't melt water all round the house when you get back... XV

      @@XVDLR Merci Xavier! I finally repaired it with a tent repair kit... let's see if it holds!
