    I'm learning piano reading and english as well. I find your channel very useful and your british accent is way much suitable for doing so. Thanks!

    Thank you for this tutorial! It was great to set up the on line practice for reading intervals and has helped already!! I have recently started to try sight reading so I’m very grateful 😀

    Thank you for this guide. It makes it seem a bit less scary. What music should I begin with? I know this is a stupid question but I had to ask.

      Did you know that the treble cleft is a letter G and the bit that curls in with the dot at the end points to the G on the music sheet?

    Thank you for another great video! Can’t wait for your next video on how to read chords. Apparently , identifying chords helps with memorizing a song. So I started doing that but it can be a frustrating exercise. I am currently learning Heller’s Fluttering Leaves op.46 no11 and while some of the broken chords are easily identifiable, others are a complete mystery, maybe because they are inverted, augmented or diminished and one note is missing 😅. In those cases, how can we identify the chord? It could be 2 different chords and how do we know which it is?

    For me as a complete beginner to piano music your RUclips is the best of the ones that I’ve watched. Your pace is perfect for beginners. Hope you do lots more.

    I play by ear and don't know how to read music, so don't worry because it doesn't matter.

    The only thing you need to know for reading sheet music, is: 1) The notes F in bass clef, C between bass and treble clef and G in treble clef. 2) All the 3 notes of the chord of C Major scale. Try to find out. It will work.

      That is one way to starting identifying individual notes yes but bit more to it than to read quicker which is what this video was mainly about. Few other tactics that can help as I started to outline here, using intervals and chords etc, recognising familiar patterns 👍

    Does anyone know? I connected the piano pedal to the piano, but it doesn't work and the keyboard doesn't make any music sound. When I plug in the piano pedal, no sound appears.🥲!

    • @PianoFromScratch
      @PianoFromScratch  2 месяца назад +2

      If the sound has disappeared, is it possible you have accidentally plugged it into the headphone socket?

      I did not do anything. I just bought it and this is my first use. I just plugged the pedal in and there was no sound or echo.
