What I like about Aba and Destiny content is even if they completely disagree, they don't give off adversarial vibes he has with others. They enjoy themselves and leave just as happy as they entered, despite Aba think Destiny is a woman's name.

But Aba isn’t looking out for trans rights.
He’s creating scenarios to tear down the whole thing.
@@SmartDave60 it’s not to “tear down the whole thing” it’s to correct the notion that trans Women/Men are what they define as. This is not a sustainable definition for society. Trans Men, are Women, that identity as men. The world will treat you like a Woman while you have the freedom to treat yourself as man. If society understood this, trans issues wouldn’t be so prevalent
I like how when they told Brittany she didn't have to caveat everthing she really jumped in head first.
That's why people hate on progressives. Not to mention they learn a few psychological terms and suddenly they're self diagnosed and diagnose everyone else. They have to virtue signal every thing. Maybe it's just the misogynistic patriarchal system???? I'm so over it.

I love these two together. I think Aba is just a great person PLUS he doesn't need Destiny. That's super important. He has his own success and recognition completely separate from Destiny. Because of this he never tries to be extra in conversations. He speaks his mind, but doesn't feel the need to try to control things because he has his own thing going.

Anytime Aba is on this, I know it's going to be a banger.
I don't know if this is Aba's point but the issue with "Trans women are women" is that it brings about a ton of nonsensical scenarios such as "men can give birth" and "women can get people pregnant". The reality of course is that "trans-men can give birth" and "trans-women can get people pregnant". The "trans" distinction is important and the slogan erases that.
100%. A trans woman is not a "woman". A trans woman is a fucking "trans woman". There's a big fucking difference that a lot of people ignore.
@@blackzero1956 A trans woman is a man experiencing gender dysphoria. A man is an adult human MALE and calling a person trans woman doesn't change the fact that that person is male aka a man.
@Jp Bm Would you still call a man who has made significant effort to transition a man? There is an obvious difference between a normal cis male compared to a trans man. When things are drastically different we typically have different terms ascribed to them. Hence "Man" & "Trans man".
I think the sex/gender distinction really solves this, but you have to already be comfortable with the distinction before you encounter the slogan, which seems unlikely. It's just not a good slogan for this reason. Simply stipulating that "females can be men" pretty much clears up everything instantly and then people know exactly what you're saying.
When people say "trans women are women," it's commonly interpreted as "trans women are female," and I can't even blame them because some radicals really do believe that and screech it out. I don't think that dumb shit will last the test of time even in the relatively unhinged online trans community.
@@blackzero1956 Drastically different or not a trans "woman" is a man and I don't like to enable delusions especially now that I'm seeing the effects of society as a whole enabling them and denying objective reality ruclips.net/video/oMALHk-i7wc/видео.html&ab_channel=KUSINews so yes I would call a man exactly what he is: a man.
According to an analysis of sexual victimization happening behind bars in the U.S. , "contrary to assumptions, the biggest threat to women serving time does not come from male corrections staff. Instead, female victims are more than three times as likely to experience sexual abuse by other women inmates than by male staff." Source is web article "Sexual Victimization by Women" By Lara Stemple in Scientific American.
I think there is one huge thing that makes male prison rapes in a league of their own.... AIDS.
This doesn't give the cross analysis between male prisons versus female prisons. All you stated was women are more likely to get r*ped from other inmates than the staff... That was what was asked.
So what though?

Brittany is a kind girl, but whenever she says “those people have a right to whatever their opinions are, in their own bubble”, I have trouble believing that. I’m sorry Britt, just because you want to be nice to people doesn’t mean everyone has a right to a safe space where their ideas are “just your opinions”.
Her “bubble” thing is just an excuse to not have to take a stance on anything. “What tastes better an aged prime rib or a piece of aged dog shit?”
“Well different bubbles everyone experiences steak differently”
Everyone naturally gravitates towards bubbles. Then to bubbles within bubbles. I've never met a conservative who can properly describe a left wing stance and vice versa.
@@peepeepoopoo2749 the analogy is supposed to be bad because it’s an analogy of how bad Brittany is at comparing things. Chocolate versus vanilla is an actual difficult choice. But if you asked Brittney “what’s worse breaking your toe or breaking your back” she’d say “I don’t know some people experience pain differently”
IIRC she talked before about how the whole "bubble" concept came about as part of the coping skills she learned in therapy to help with her BPD, and after hearing that it's a lot more understandable because it basically gives her a way to think about people who disagree with her as something other than pure evil lol. That's not to say I agree with viewing the world that way in general, but for someone who would otherwise tend towards thinking of everyone in pure black/white terms it's probably better.
Wait hang on. What are you implying with this statement?
I cannot describe how much I love Aba just straight up calling people out in these overly-liberal spaces and exposing their hypocrisy. Just shows that they are bandwagoning without having to think about nuanced scenarios where their ideology can be easily challenged into oblivion.
Whenever anyone says things like “This issue is only 1% of a 1%”, or “I personally never do that thing, so I wouldn’t know” means they can’t engage with the situation and have parroted talking points without thinking them through.
This isn’t just a problem with overly-liberal spaces, it’s problem with right wings spaces just as much. A lot of people don’t question their own beliefs which isn’t a good thing to do. Be skeptical of everyone even if you mostly agree with them.
If a trans man enters a female space then what Aba’s response?
Cis women might be freaked out.
What’s the solution then?
@@SmartDave60 Aba’s point I think is the hypocrisy of the trans movement in general and parroting slogans like “Trans Women are women” without not even doing a basic study on how that would apply.
As for the scenario you’ve put forward, at the end of the day, the trans man cannot really hurt the women to the extent a trans woman can even if they pass as a man. In a prison environment, discomfort is not really a problem. Safety is.
@@Zephyrhash2 what if the cis women are disturbed?
What’s the solution?

In the UK you basically have bathroom stalls anywhere that you may need to change, I always thought it was weird growing up seeing that Americans all showered and changed together.
Yep, I was going to say this but I saw your comment. Every gym and swimming pool I've ever been to have always had stalls for you to change in away from everyone else.
The vast majority of facilities I've used in the uk were basically a room where everyone changed together. Stalls were the exception, except in fancy private gyms in big cities. There might have been like 1 or 2 stalls in leisure centres, but they would definitely not meet needs when the place was at capacity.

What you just described is a safe space lol. It is a space that people with shared experiences can gather to express aspects of their identity with others without fear of reprisal, shame, embarrassment, or discrimination.
Another example of a safe space would be therapy, whether individual or group therapy. Therapy being a safe space is essential for their ability to function.
@@gamingwhilebroken2355 I feel like its better to address the reasons why the established spaces are "unsafe" rather than make a new exclusionary space and segregating everyone out. It also feels really fuckin weird that "safe spaces" pretty much translate to "no white men" spaces at the moment.

Rare moment where Kelly was right - UK swimming pools pretty much always have stalls. I imagine there's a few smaller gyms that might not, but it probably has a lot to do with the fact that most UK "Leisure Centres" (yes that's what we call them) are owned by the local government. Lot easier to throw money into stalls than harassment lawsuits
Just another W for Kelly Jean
In Germany only swimming pools have like a few stalls, which is absolutely enough.
Gym sadly don't but if you are really uncomfortable you can change in the bathroom
The problem is Kelly isn't answering the question that situation already happened that trans woman using the changing room in spa and gym that have no private compartment and showing their penis to woman and girl. The problem does not completely go away with individual stall / compartment, simply being in the same washroom with a male looking trans woman would still make some people feel unsafe. UK is really good that the stall / compartment door and wall goes all the way to the floor and ceiling most of the time (at least most washroom i visit). In some countries, the stall / compartment door does not enclose the space completely
Yeah, but we're talking about swimming pools and showers for people, not the English.
Dude, really? Unironic question. I don't know about swimming pools, but 'the Gym' I go to definitely doesn't have stalls. It has individuals showers and you could use those to get dressed, but they are showers, and still uncomfortable to use for that purpose. You might as well get dressed in the toilet stall.
In Germany I’ve never ever in 10+ years of gym seen single changing rooms. Always huge ass rooms and showers/saunas.
In England their is a swimming changing room that is big and has cubicles. You don't get changed out of them cubicles. Then theres a men and women changing room

Aba was spot on during this entire thing. People tolerate us trans people. Imagine someone saying "I tolerate you".... what an insult. People don't understand and don't really want to. We're a tool for left and right to attack each other for lack of empathy or lack of normality. We'll always be around 1% of the population so we won't ever be a sizeable minority that can gain enough traction. We're the basis of the culture war at the moment and all we'll face is shit from all round - hate from the right and patronising attitudes from the left. Will I use a male space again? No. Do I get anxious when using female spaces? Yes. Will society help with rational discussion that genuinely makes people's lives better? No. Just leave us alone and leave us to it, just like we have been doing since before this became the pivot point of the culture war.
I have views that many would call transphobic, though I don't believe I am a transphobe, according to the definition. I can see your perspective. I think trans 'allies' are the ones who have made trans people into a lightning rod for conversation, honestly. I've met trans people in my life and had nothing but pleasant interactions with them. But trans 'allies?' Exclusively negative. And I realized that I started to have increasingly negative views on trans people on account of the "allies" who aren't even trans. I think reason has left the conversation on both sides, though I also think that believing anyone is owed more than tolerance in life is a bit naive. I don't know. Trans people present a host of new problems that we've never had before. We're all experiencing the growing pains of learning how to solve the ones we can solve, and live with the ones we can't.
@@meh3766 It's a complicated world and people who lack the ability to talk or think in nuance get frustrated at that fact, attempt to double down on their simplistic ideals and demonise anyone in their path. I'm not asking for tolerance just the same level of respect that anyone would give to any stranger. It might seem like a sensible question to ask a trans person to discuss their genitalia but if you frame it in the context of : "how often do you ask strangers about their genitals?" and the answer is zero times. Unless you're an OBGYN. What's implicit in such interactions is an underlying disbelief that we are as human as anyone else. I can't think of any other reason that someone would cross the line on first contact with a human they do not know.
@@gailforce I understand where you're coming from, though I do still disagree. It's true, we don't ask anyone else about their genitalia, but that's because genitalia was never really in question for anyone before, no? It only became an issue when sex and gender diverged-- whereas they were more or less one before. So, at least as i see things, I don't view you in any way as less human. I view you as a different kind of human than everyone else, because you are different. And I think the issue of genitalia in spaces that are segregated exclusively by genitalia makes the question valid, though uncomfortable. The truth is, I don't believe that transwomen should be entitled to female spaces. That doesn't mean that I think every transwoman should be chased out of the bathroom, though. It means that I think inasmuch as the women are welcoming, transwomen should have license. But if and when women are not welcoming, that space should default to those for whom it was created. I also think transwomen do not belong in female prisons, especially not if they have penises, for the most obvious reasons. Again, we aren't accustomed to having to ask the question of genitalia, but transpeople in many ways, inherently force the question. It's unfortunate that attempting to answer the question of how to reasonably accommodate transpeople without overly inconveniencing everyone else is such a clumsy process.
@@meh3766 how do you feel about male prison guards in female prisons? Is it something you've given much thought to?

I hear what Brittany is saying about Contra, who absolutely puts in a serious effort, but it's wise to remember that we mostly see Contra on camera, alone. Who has always been (and remains) quite tall and broad-shouldered, and is thus fairly physically imposing. I don't mean that as I put-down; I just mean to say that finances and resources (of which Contra has had plenty), and even effort, aren't the only factors in that feeling of safety when a trans woman walks into a place like a support group or shelter.
Abba is so motivated in his reasoning in this episode
As a latino person, I can safely speak for all of us that when we hear you guys use the term "Latinx" we fucking HATE it. Please stop. And if you're referring to a group of latinos and latinas, you can just say latinos. It's not a big deal.

These women are so ill informed. It’s embarrassing. Most women in US prison aren’t incarcerated for sexual assault.
Destiny's argument seems wild to me. People used to feel threatened by black people in white spaces, would he defend that or agree that people were right to push for change? I don't care if someone feels unsafe, I care about whether or not they are. If they're safe but they feel unsafe, the expectation should be for them to change, not to discriminate against people over irrational fears.
Love Aba and destiny content. Way more entertaining with Aba involved
Something I can't wrap my head around to this day is the inability of these people that scream at you when you conflate gender and sex not understanding that at the time these divisions were made, between men and women, people didn't separate gender and sex, they were interchangeable, the "men's bathroom" was understood just the same as a "male's bathroom", and women/female as well, the formers are just a nicer way of saying it.
So it baffles me that people think that just by changing how we view the word, all of the societal baggage that comes with it will automatically readjust and people will be fine with it, and even with reality showing them time and time again that that's not how things work, they still don't get the clue.
21:49 i agree. most men arent murderers or rapists but i can see that in a specific space as vulnerable as a bathroom it would be smart to be cautious of any potential threats that may target these spaces.

Left for a few months and Kelly still hasn't changed. Good times
I really wish there were more private spaces at least. Like I wish most places had at least one single person bathroom or changing room.
Otherwise it leaves non-passing trans people with pretty much no good options. Either go in the womens room and make people uncomfortable/unsafe or go in the mens room and make people uncomfortable and have a higher risk of being unsafe.
Baltimore and Ohio railroad museum has two bathrooms that are both unisex.
It's extremely uncomfortable, and everyone uses one for men and one for women, unspoken.
Kelly is getting very annoying. Lately she continually centres any debate about herself.
One thing that should be known is that over half of all non consensual relationships in male prison were by female staff according to the CDC or FBI I can’t remember exactly where
In 2012, I took a Gender & Women's intro course at college. There was one trans woman in that class who didn't shave and various other little non-passing things, and she would constantly ask the professor why we weren't covering trans issues and even asked why we weren't talking about trans suicide rates at one point. The professor had to kindly remind her that it was an intro course, that we actually were going to cover trans issues but it'd only be about a day, and that we had a lot to talk about that semester. The trans woman was visibly upset every time it came up. You can tell he is only bringing up race to screw with destiny or as a joke about the ridiculousness he sees the conversation being.
Just a friendly reminder that reticent does not mean ambivalent or hesitant
This is like the fifth example recently where Destiny has (mis)used a biggish word and then his orbiters start following suit not long after
if you look a little deeper, colloquially it has meant reluctant for a long while, merriam-webster has an entry on it and I’m sure there’s other resources as well.
I've always used reticent to mean "hesitant" or "reluctant" but I've never looked the word up
@@mishmash918 not really a deeper look but a less discerning look, sure. Look at the etymology and you’ll find it has the same Latin root word as “tacit.” Tacere, to be silent.
The quality of acting reserved and not openly stating something might indicate a reluctance, given contextual clues, but the word’s meaning was is specific. Language is all we have to communicate. We shouldn’t change words’ meanings just because legions of illiterates blatantly misuse them and carp on about an evolving lexicon imo
3:41 Maybe its just my personal experience but I find that it's the opposite. Every single time I've seen a trans woman out in public in person (which isn't that many times to be fair, just a few times) they weren't passing at all and it was pretty obvious, while the most passing trans women I've seen have all been online personalities on RUclips or Twitter or whatever.
Do you actually ask whether these people are trans or is it an assumption you make based on their look? Might just be fem guys or a masc women.
Also Destiny's point stands. For every Trans person you see that doesnt pass, there very well may be many more that do pass you just aren't noticing.
I think the point is you wouldn’t notice if you saw a trans person that passed. In my personal experience I’ve been shocked to find out a person was trans multiple times in my life.
That’s the exact counter destiny brought up. If someone passed to a point where they would be indistinguishable from a cis woman you would not notice they are trans, thus skewing your perception. It also depends on where you are and several other factors of course
Ava bringing up Hassan as a hypothetical at the end is absolutely hilarious
I’m a woman. If you’re traveling long distances and you know that you’re approaching or will be traveling through unfamiliar or unfriendly places , there’s nothing wrong with investing in some adult diapers.
Less stopping for bathroom breaks saves time going down or up I-95.
Gas is cheapest in NJ. You can use the bathroom and top off the gas at the rest stop there. The ladies room has a long line and lots of kids but everyone has their own stall and it moves quickly.
Amazon sells adult diapers and they can be delivered to your house.
Just a suggestion. I’m a POC by the way. There are very sketchy places in some of these small towns.
Be safe!
Sheesh I had a friend who's Ethiopian but has a French accent that stopped at some small town in Montana and was told to leave soon as he can lmaooo it's wild and it's sad
The sad truth is that society doesn’t care about men, trans or not.
I love how Abba is able to make even destiny squirm lol
I don't know why it irritates me so much when people say an abbreviation for something and then immediately say that something right after.
i know right
I agree with what was said, I'm trans and tbh I won't use the bathroom OFTEN because I just don't wanna be the next internet sensation.
I'm careful around cis women like I am around the police lmao
I don't want to be misinterpreted or have alarm bells rung because of my presence. Which is funny because I'm not even imposing. I'm like 5'7, under 180 lbs, vaguely femme built because of HRT of 2 years now. A lot of the male elements of my being don't even work anymore.
And I still operate like this.
28:20 man, this is one of thise +1 respect moments, i admire how he manages to say that comment that would start a fight in almost any context in such a normal friendly way that makes people actually engage with it. Imagine saying that, id expect the conversation to turn into shouting match after that, despire it making sense
Is this the same girl that talks about her assault every time she starts speaking? If it is Ive only heard her speak 3 times but it’s been brought up in every topic.
TBF, the last like 3 streams were around this topic to some extent and Brittney’s been at the center of the whole conversation. She doesn’t bring it up “ALL THE TIME”, but she’s also a very open person who has a socially [REDACTED] awareness of reading the room sometimes lol
Prison rates are higher for men. BUUUT you would have to take into account that men are 2.5 times more likely to be incarcerated for the same crime as women annnnnd receive almost 75% longer sentences. All this only increases more once you factor in race. I'm not making excuses for men but can simply saying I wouldn't call it all black and white the same way I wouldn't when I came to black men incarceration rates.
They don't think she's trans. They think she's Jewish.
(((Tell me about the origin of that nose Brittney)))
she 💀
Zonia jail logic:
1. *woman* = good
2. *man* = bad for woman
*woman* = *woman*
_hence:_
*woman* commits a crime = belong in jail with other *women*
_Conclusion:_
_Women are women. Woman = good: therefore belong in female jail away from men(man = bad for woman)._
*above average violent(and/or stronger) woman* = *woman*
_hence:_
*above average violent(and/or stronger) woman* commits a crime = belong in jail with other *women*
_Conclusion:_
_Women are women. Above average women when it comes to violence(and/or strength) are a higher threat to other women but since they're still women they get treated like they're women. Woman = good: therefore belong in female jail away from men(man = bad for woman)._
*trans woman* = *woman*
_hence:_
*trans woman* commits a crime = belong in jail with other *women*
_Conclusion:_
_Trans women are women. Woman = good: therefore belong in female jail away from men(man = bad for woman)._
*above average violent(and/or stronger) trans woman* = *previously man*
_hence:_
*above average violent(and/or stronger) trans woman* commits a crime = does not belong in jail with other *women*
_Conclusion:_
_Trans women are not wholly women if they're above average violent(and/or stronger) than the average woman. Above average trans women when it comes to violence(and/or strength) are a higher threat to women and since they were previously a man they get treated like something in between. The part that used to be a man = bad for woman and the part that is female = keep away from man: therefore belong in a segregated space in female jail away from men(man = bad for women) and women(transitioned men with above average violence tendencies((and/or strength)) = bad for women)._
lmfaooo :V
Lots of men in prison are not in prison are not their for violent crimes too.
I only watch destiny videos now because it’s interesting to see how disconnected he is from real life while he criticizes everyone from his gamer chair 😂
How is he disconnected from reality?
@@peewee130946 constantly excusing womens poor behavior and choices while implying it's easy to date as a man and men who make the same choices women he'd excuse instead he goes super hard core no charitability or good faith towards them. All while being in a position where if he had to meet women and date without being on twitch and an e celeb his game would need a factory reset because hes stuck in some early 2000s mindset imo.

@@lizardjoel “excuses womens poor behavior” literally argued last week with a tiktoker for 2 hours about how women need to be more assertive. how many times has destiny talked about how women need to stop acting like retarded children lol
@lizardjoel literally everything you just said is wrong...
1:38:18 as someone who’s worked janitorial in a clinic, performing arts hall, a gym and assisted living facility YES women are more disgusting when it comes to bathrooms.
Aba is like the anchor that tries to keep everyone attached to the real world...
Everyone so scared to just say yes or no to abas questions. Nut up lol. Also, teenagers in middle and high school fight all the time. I know for a fact you wouldn't want any men or teenagers in the same bathroom as your daughter quit caping. This is such a bad faith debate. Aba is the only one being real here.
I don't think aba's question was that difficult to answer...whenever. Someone's in prison/jail, the state is responsible for their safety and well being. So a trans woman who passes really well would get ran thru and blown out if they were in a men's prison, without a doubt, but if they were in a woman's prison it's reasonable to be concerned about the other women's safety as well. So trans ppl, women esp, need to be housed separately. This is totally reasonable. There are already various kinds of ppl who get housed separately, like ex gang members, child abusers, rats, etc, for their safety. I don't see how housing trans ppl the same way negates their womanhood
Lol to depend on the character of a prisoner to make decisions on women's prisons is so hilariously ironic.
The Aba/Destiny crossover is so good. Aba really does his research and is able to present some of the more esoteric arguments ((for example, transmedical privilege)). He's able to throw the radical lingo back in their faces and I think that's important. Moderate leftists need to reel in the radical liberals and Aba does a great job of deconstructing their BS.
The moment Aba condemned the most tolerant solution as racist was some 3D chess shit he's the best.
Lmao Aba is hilarious. Every video with Aba and Destiny talking are always entertaining.
The W hotel in Bellevue, the bathroom on the main floor has two doors, M and W, they both lead to the same big multi sink room with stalls along the wall with floor to ceiling stall doors.
Every single gym ive been to has a family changing room that anyone can use if they dont wanna change in front of other people.
Yup, aba just doesn't like trans women. He thinks they're just men
@Bu$$yButcher ikr lol
@@wxedsanddokx why does thinking their men with a wig and a penis. Think u dislike them?
Destiny will never be a real woman
The most surprising thing in this video is that destiny is playing starcraft 2
No shot brittany doesn't understand that her getting called trans is bullying
Aba needs to take a trip to Asia. Some trans women are genuinely indiscernible.
Also makes for an environment where it’s harder to tell right away if someone is cisgendered
This comment is giving big “White guy that takes summer vacations in Thailand” vibes 🤔

Huh, I always thought it was normal for everyone to get locked in the bathroom for hours and start fighting, it always felt kinda weird that it only happened once since I came to America, but I never really thought about it till now.
"Sex and gender are 2 different things"
But you don't get gender without sex. So sex sets up what gender is and should be. Just because you have members of each sex that can exhibit characteristics that don't match their sex isn't relevant. They're the exception, not the rule.
The thing with violence in women's prisons is that it's turned inward more than outwards more often.
Kelly feels like Lav 2.0 at this point. The constant talking over people, the was she freaks out whenever someone refuses to agree with her, the way shes so confident no matter how wrong she is. Holy shit
don't forget the random braindead transphobic takes
Aba is literally the 🐐
These comments have me feeling like we're finally getting back to the content I'm here for.
Having tax dollars spent on transitioning while in prison is ridiculous.
why?
Woman: is an adult human female. Not a gender identity.
I actually agree with Brittany for once. If a trans woman is making an effort to pass, even if she's built like a linebacker, I think that's enough to "pass"
"Sorry you didn't win the genetic lottery, you don't get to have the option to be trans anymore" is basically what it boils down to, which is insane
But if you're in a "safe space" the onus is on you to keep that space safe if you engage with it regardless if you think you belong there or not. Like her women's assault victim group with a person with a beard there.
@@andrewnguyen4801 eh it’s bad to be traumatized by just seeing other people who didn’t do anything to you.
