    Another funny quote from Ferris Buellers day off: "he loves that car more than life" Bueller:" a man with priorities that far out of whack doesn't deserve such a fine automobile "😂 👍 great movie!👍

    I agree, this is by far the most detail 1 64 diecast. Even more detail than tlvn and inno. The interior is no joke, there is no comparison, the interior is just as detail as a bigger scale model its even more detail than some bigger scale interior. And its roll as good as tlvn and mini gt. I have one gfcc and i plan to buy it again in the future.
    And carefull, i broke one of the wipper.
    Its open both back and front

    Bueller?...Bueller?😂 Very nicely detailed car! Almost looked like the doors open.

    I have an Ixo 1:43 of the Ferrari 250 GT California SWB.It's nicely detailed but it doesn't have an opening hood, not that I really care about opening features at 1:43. I also have a Hot Wheels 250 GT California in 1:18 from the regular 1:18 line they had before Elite. It's nice but I think it's based on a different variant of the California because the front end looks quite a lot more blunted than the smaller scale versions I have (also including, obviously, the 1:64 Hot Wheels Retro Entertainment Ferris Bueller's Day Off version) but I know that era of Ferrari did some significant body style variations within the same model range.

    The first time I came across a GFCC model was with the Mercedes Benz 450 SL Roadster and what a beautiful piece it was. And yes, the trunk does open. I missed out on this Ferrari though :(

    I am almost I have all 3 colors options of this and each car just happens to #1. They are exquisite. If it is not this brand than I have a brand that is just about the exact item. I’ll have to check later.

    very nice, I would recommend a tooth flosser to pop the hood open, they are like a flexible tooth pick. no scratching of the paint from using a metal screwdriver thanks for sharing

    Love this model! Does it have a metal or plastic base? As for sticker goo removal, I always use the actual sticker itself to tack on to residue left on the car. Works like a charm!

    • @Championdjk
      @Championdjk  3 месяца назад

      The base is metal with plastic inserts that the screws thread into

    Yeah, GFCC really upped their game with this release, which is insane to say because they have already produced some of the best 1:64 diecast to date (with their 450SL being my personal favorite for years.) As soon as I got mine, i immediately said, "this is the closest thing to resin i have ever seen in diecast"

    Since they are metal , using a magnet to open some parts may make it a little easier. To be that high of quality of a piece , prehaps some hand crafting with special tools , jewelers type tools with magnifying instruments.

    Pricewise its about the same as your typical hotwheels RLC release, makes you wonder just how much profit mattel is milking out of collectors by selling similarly priced diecast with about 1\10 the effort\quality.

    Luckily the Ferrari lovers has the opportunity to get this little gems thanks to those brands who made Ferrari models. Unfortunately Burago got the Ferrari license just to put on the wall in the president headquarter

  • @drgruber57
    @drgruber57 3 месяца назад

    Wow! I may just have to splurge and get one of those. Talk about quality. Some of us remember the 60s when things made in Japan were all considered cheapy and really poor workmanship. Then the Japanese gradually got their act together and the quality just went up, up, up.
    Seems like that's what's happening in China now.

    It shouldn't take over four minutes into the vid for you to actually start showing the model. Why are you making us wait through all of that gibberish? You aren't Lamely so we get it after the first time you talk about it.

      Hit the fast forward if you can't wait, some people like the details, this is not a high production Hot Wheels so you dont have to go fast.

      I know what you mean. He spent 5 minutes dancing around the cost, as if stating what he paid would get him in trouble, and futzing around with the packaging. Why wasn't he more prepared? He only had a little screwdriver and obviously did no research before hitting the record button. Sorry, but I won't be returning.
