Vlog 157: The Spare Unit -

- Following on from my last upload, I thought it would be a good idea to upload a truck with the other kind of signage on that is on Citywide’s rigs. 4 trucks have signage, 2 (#11480 & #11481) have the Yellow “Recycling Service” Signage and the other 2 (#11486 & #11487) have the Blue “Active Moreland” Signage.
This was taken towards the end of the school holidays, Here we have #11487, with my garbage driver, Daniel, His normal truck was broken down and was off the road, meaning Danny ended up in the spare unit. This is a pretty unique truck, being the only flat faced 22m Acco.
Here we have a 8 min video of this truck, which hasn’t made too many appearances on RUclips. Many years ago, other well-knows enthusiasts filmed in these same streets, So that was pretty cool to be filming in this area. These were some of the last streets of the day, with the last bin being collected in the final clip, So I was pretty lucky to get this, as I was up in the In-House side earlier in the morning, (Luck wasn’t on my side and I didn’t catch anything) pretty happy I managed to get this decent video, as it was all I got that day.
