Reminds me of Sunday afternoons. The friends who stayed over on Saturday are gone, the homework still has time to wait, and MTV is filling time before the evening line-up with whatever it's been replaying constantly over the previous six months. I don't remember rushing to catch any of these when they premiered, but I must've seen all of them at least five times on lazy Sundays back in the day. My favorite part is how bad the "Jocks" have to play, because if they even came close to batting or throwing like they can, they'd horribly injure the musicians and actors. Imagine Frank Thomas hitting a real line drive at Bon Jovi. Yikes!
33:15 I remember watching this game as a 13 year old and thought it was funny AF when they would play ‘Erotica’ by Madonna as Canseco would come to bat 😂 Btw, the Erotica album is one I’ve appreciated more and more as I’ve gotten older. Great production by the legendary Shep Pettibone. A classic pop album that brought house music into the mainstream. In fact, Madonna’s 90’s material (Erotica, Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light), in my opinion, is her best, even though she will obviously always be most remembered for her 80’s output. Her collaboration with Pettibone, starting with ‘Vogue’, arguably the pop song most responsible for bringing house into the mainstream, signified her first artistic reinvention and completely reinvigorated her career in the 90’s. Very similar to how I feel about U2. When they embraced house, Madchester and other forms of alternative dance music, their 90’s material (Achtung Baby, Zooropa and Pop) and collaborations with producers Brian Eno and Flood are my favorite era of their discography
As an adult I am shocked MLB teams allowed contracted players to do this. Imagine if Lofton, Bonds, or Thomas tore an ACL and out for the year... This was fun but the only problem was the game on repeat at least once every day for 6 months.
When celebrities were relatable. I lived for this channel in the 90's. Thanks for taking me back to the good ole days.
OK GO BACK TO YOUR POINTLESS CAVE!

I got Madonna's big dick coming out of my left ear, and Toby the jap I don't know what coming out of my right. 😂
Can you imagine the absolute fit MLB organizations would have in today's world having players playing in this?
This clássic is nostalgic
Jose is the man

it's crazy, they had amazing players in this thing, Griffey, Bonds, Thomas, Lofton...HoF caliber players
Different era. Reggie White, Kevin Greene, Rodman, and Karl Malone were hall of farmers doing pro wrestling matches in their spare time.
Wow, this had the dirt cam before MLB did.
My brother is\was the official umpire at home plate police games
How casual, "He's a 2 time MVP..."
It ain't a rock n jock softball game without Roger McDonald
Dan Cortese is still the man! Check yo self!
Do you happen to have the Eight Annual Softball challenge video? From 1997.
