    That had a beautiful ending. I've had a special relationship with St Michael through my whole life. The school and church I went to growing up was named after him. He is an absolute warrior! You see his works the more you build a connection with him through Jesus (not Santeria lol).

    Thank you for this case , Father. I got very emotional, finding myself yelling "NO, PLEASE NO" when Maria attempted Su1c1d3, and crossed myself and said aloud "Thank you, God, Thank you St. Michael" when she was saved. I've been battling the demon of su1c1d3 myself, I Thank God every day that I have people that tether me to this world, and I am grateful for this account to remind me that I shouldn't go through with it if I don't want others to go through with it.

    In case anyone was curious what the demon was saying at 8:43, I've parsed the Latin out (took some work, having people who don't know Latin recite it can result in some very odd pronunciation, stress accent placement and phrasing) and can offer a translation.
    8:43
    "O, quam dulce est domi esse! Domus, dulcis domus. Ex itinere nostro reversi, bonum est domum (?) esse."
    "O, how sweet it is to be home! Home, sweet home. Having returned from our journey, it is good to be home."
    9:03
    "Invidia, colonia, sacrilegio luci (???) tui dolor (??? this part of the sentence is nigh unintellible, this is just my best guess) patria ubi olim tres erant, nunc sunt viginti unus!"
    "Envy, colony, by sacrilege of your light, pain (again, spitballing) In the country where once there were three, now there are twenty one!"

    Saint Michael is powerful against evil. God sent him to drive away spirits that had been sent to torture my sleep through a curse when I lived in an apartment. When I bought my home I dedicated it to him and put a statue of him in the front yard and I have had no issues in my home.

      That's no joke. I didn't even believe in "this stuff" until I started to be made aware of it while living in a house where weird things happened. Even then I didn't handle it as I should have, but didn't know better. Like the person in the next bedroom used to always sleep with the radio on when we all lived in one place, then we moved to a different place where his bedroom was on the other side of the house from mine. Then we all moved into another place where our bedrooms were next to each other again. In the third place, his radio kept me awake at night because it was too loud. It was on a dresser close to the wall between the bedrooms, and that's where my headboard was. I didn't want to wake him to ask him to turn it down, so I'd resolve to mention it in the morning. But I kept forgetting, and it went on for months. Finally I remembered, and he went pale. He said he didn't keep the radio on all night any more, he watched his new TV. Then he said the TV would change channels by itself, and some other things were happening that made him think the room was haunted. He suggested that I tell it the radio was too loud and ask it to turn it off or turn it down or something. I thought that was odd to say the least. He probably had an overactive imagination. But that night when the radio turned on really loud, I remembered his suggestion, and I didn't say anything, but I _thought_ the request, and the radio immediately got quiet. And I was so surprised, I actually didn't know how to respond, so I just thought, "Thank you." We could hear someone walking in that room and doing things even when he wasn't home and there was nobody upstairs. A few years later we all moved again, and that guy moved away. But the next place I moved into had other weird stuff happening, and it wasn't as "nice" as the haunting at the previous place. It was seriously interfering with my sleep, and no request would stop it. Then I happened to catch a History Channel short snippet of history, no more than maybe 10 minutes long, and aired between regular programming. This one was about Pope Leo XIII and the St. Michael Prayer. The narrator actually recited the prayer, and whatever was in the house didn't like that. So I remembered it as best as I could - I didn't have it exactly right - and I prayed it in every corner of every room and closet in the home, starting at the entry door and going clockwise around the house. I did that every time I left and upon my return, and in between any time anything strange happened. The occurrences grew less and less, and I decided to start reading the Bible seriously. I had one of my late Grandpa's Bibles, and started reading it from the beginning, trying to understand what the authors were really saying. Prior to that I'd basically treated the Bible as a book of tales. Something about taking it seriously must have riled up whatever was haunting the place, because my sleep disturbances started again, and one night it was particularly troubling. I couldn't think of the words of the St. Michael Prayer, all I could do was think his name "loudly," but not out loud. And he was right there. I could feel it. That was it. The weird happenings stopped and never returned. I continued prayers to St. Michael throughout the house, and everywhere I lived after that. Some years later, having read the entire Bible and studying the Faith of my childhood, I returned to the Sacraments. I figure God allowed the bad stuff so I would know who I was choosing between.

    Father Carlos of Satan never existed would Adam and Eve still sinned?

    • @bernadettewilkie5996
      @bernadettewilkie5996 2 месяца назад +3

      I think that's an interesting question. I see what you are saying. I think in general we have to remember, Adam and Eve would have always had free will in the garden. As long as you have free will, you will always have an opportunity to choose God or not. Now, if Satan wasn't there, then maybe you are right, maybe they wouldn't have had the reason to sin.
      But you also have to remember, Adam and Even had a much deeper understanding of right and wrong, which is what made their disobedience to God so much more devastating. So at the end of the day, Adam and Eve still had a choice to do right or wrong. They could have not eaten the apple.
      Idk if that answers your question. I hope Fr. Carlos can see your question because its a good one to ponder.
