Hi there I really glad that many great people, as you, are coming to Mexico, so welcome then I know that you will enjoy it and keep doing videos about your experiences greetings from Monterrey Mx
@@LunaSoleil well, is one of the most important cities in the north of Mexico, the third one bigger over the country, after Guadalajara & CDMX. It is industrial and technological development make it a metropolis with an extraordinary quality of life, as well as an interesting cultural, gastronomic and entertainment offer, so if you are looking for what to do whether is day or night, rest assured that in Monterrey you will need extra days to continue exploring and will not run out of options, it has a warm weather, here you can find a lot of outdoor advetures, museums, mountains, cascades, caves, magic towns, so if you have plans to come, feel free to be in touch and I will glad to help you anytime
@@LunaSoleil I think so, I’m pretty good at researching lol and I think it’s tome to get off the laptop and just go. I am very traveled, military brat but I’m ready for a long term move out of the US and I’m loving how I’m hearing my people are being treated over there.
Hi! Thanks for this video. I enjoyed it. Merida looks nice. I am currently living in Colombia and exploring all over. I can understand your loneliness. It’s nice that you were able to meet with the other ladies though! Hopefully you keep finding the opportunity to do meetups.
You’re welcome, thank you for watching! I’m back home in DR now but Merida was a great experience despite the lows. Colombia is definitely on my list, how do you like living there?
@@LunaSoleil oh! I see. DR is great too? Definitely visit Colombia. We are enjoying it so far. It’s pretty easy to navigate, people are very welcoming…so for me it’s great!
Be safe sunshine. Also check out Stephanie Perry RUclips. She talks and help black woman expats traveling and look for Facebook groups for expats in the cities your in. She just suggested divas expat on FB.
@Nicole so Happy for you !! I'm sure your enjoying Merida. It's definitely hot & humid there .. much more than Las Terrenas. Merida is a dessert climate which is dry. I couldn't live in Merida because of the heat, too much for me.. But, sure is beautiful! And the food is amazing!! If you like, I can introduce you to a couple which also has a RUclips channel and I believe they are still living in Merida. I know they move around regarding rentals and all. They are a really nice couple enjoying the expat experience. The Best in future endeavors.. enjoy yourself to the fullest ..stay blessed 🙏🏻💜 🥰

I was researching Merida, Puerto Vallarta & Playa Del Carmen earlier today as best places for expats. Plan to visit one of them later this year with friends.
Greetings to you. I'm curious to know why did you select that city in Mexico? I was last in Mexico two years ago had a great time looking to return this year but have not decided on the city. Enjoy your time and good luck with your book.
Hi, Merida is the safest city in Latin America with lots of rich culture and many expats. I love it so far. I'll be exploring another part of the country next week so I'm looking forward to that as well.
I always fly into Santo Domingo because the flights seem to be the most affordable. From there, you can take a taxi or the bus. It takes 2 hours but the drive is beautiful.
I know a beginner/moderate amount of Spanish but I am definitely not fluent. I was able to get around comfortably without much confusion. Luckily, I understand much more than I can speak.
Yeah Boy, first week of August the whole month, I have reasons to believe that it will be far better than Sosua, Puerto Plata. Semana is Just Campo & Beaches.
Oh! My! God!
Glad you're back!
3 YEARS! DAMN😂
SO SO PROUD OF YOU!
I know right?! Time fliessss. And thank you!! Glad to be back 😊
I'm a solo traveler and I absolutely love it 😁
