Followed your guide, thank you very Much. I would suggest to insert blinkers and all the cable before and not after attaching the tail tidy. Also you will have to take away your plate from te original plateholder and you need to buy a new one on which you should attach your plate with rivets.
Thanks for the video. Installed it today with your installation example. I have a high mount exhaust from akrapovic, so the right rear turn signal is touching my exhaust, will have to buy the shortest possible turn signals..
The only protection I have for the cables is the shrink wrap.. But water can still get inside into the battery area. I made a plastic cover but water can still get in if it rains a lot..
This is one of the biggest issues with the rear eliminator kit on the xsr700 and 900 I personally created a gasket not a silicone and then used a razor blade to cut it to size so it fit extremely snug I wanted to avoid any water intrusion into The battery area.
Mike Awesome I’m glad you liked the video! You need a flasher relay for led blinkers because the original relay is for halogen blinkers. If you don’t change the relay you will get hyperflash. You can see it happening in the video before I install the flasher relay (17:45).
Hey @turtlerace awesome vid! I am planning on buying this plateholder but since the plate is attached just to the top, I was wondering if it vibrates a lot. Any experience about this? Thank you!
Thanks man! It doesn’t vibrate a lot but unfortunately mine broke after a couple of months. The roads in my country aren’t the smoothest, that wasn’t helpful either.. The fixture itself is very solid I think mine broke because of the poor quality of the aluminum.
Hey man, thank you for the detailed vid. Just wondering, would there be any cutting of wires/soldering required if I used the stock turn signals? Thanks

Thank you very much for the detailed installation, helped me a lot 😊

Hi. where can i get this bag? on the side of the frame
Do you know if the stock turn signals will fit on this fender eliminator kit?
Excelente video muchas gracias por compartir sus conocimientos me sirvió mucho para modificar mi xsr
Hi, great video.
did you manage to somehow cover the exposed cables in the fender? I'm afraid it could and draw us some water.

Awesome! nice vid! Hi there! can you explain to me why do you needed another flasher relay since you soldered the wires together?

is it solid? did you broke it at the end or is it still alive?
Thanks for the share
Yes, it is solid! The quality is very good, especially for the price!
@@1turtlerace1 Thank you so much. You took away many doubts. I bought it too now and I hope it will arrive soon :D
Just follow my instructions and the installation will be just fine 😂

No resistors needed? what LEDs are these?

Michelle Maher no cutting or soldering is required If you use the stock turn signals! You need the cable adapter for the license plate led though..

Ok... where did you get the brown bag?
Carlos M I got it from the yamaha dealer where I bought the bike
@@1turtlerace1 Is the official yamaha bag?
@@davidar3676 yes it is..
My brake light is not working currently...
About to order like this. Uhmm is there any specific relay that i should buy?
I think any relay will work.. Must make sure you buy a Yamaha one!
I know Louis.eu have relays that fits. Have a look!
I bought one a few months ago, and unfortunately, it has already broken, to those who have already assembled it, check if there are no cracks.
Thanks for the warning 👍
A tua via verde funciona bem debaixo do banco??
Nada bem mesmo 😂 Mas também não funciona bem no braço, no bolso, nem em lado nenhum por isso desisti..
