- Welcome to another adrenaline-packed episode of the Hydraulic Press Channel! Today, we're diving deep into the world of extreme pressures with our brand new Cylinder 200 000 000. Designed to handle a whopping 2,000 bars (or 200 million pascals) of pressure, this beast can simulate the weight of 20 elephants atop a teaspoon (or as we like to joke - some 'Freedom Units').
In this episode, we're pushing the boundaries by using this unprecedented pressure to extrude various substances through minuscule holes-0.4mm and 0.2mm in diameter. To give you a sense of how tiny these are, they're nearly invisible to the naked eye. It's akin to spotting a singular star in the night sky.
Our first contender? The creamy and beloved Nutella spread! Our goal? To turn this chocolatey delight into a high-speed jet and see if it can penetrate and fill bread, making an inside-out Nutella sandwich! But things don't always go as planned. From encountering challenges with the nozzle to the Nutella acting more like a sneaky fart than a laser beam, the adventure is filled with unexpected turns.
We also explore other fascinating tests, like challenging our Nutella jet against ballistic gelatin in the shape of a quirky squirrel. Spoiler alert: the results are shockingly entertaining!
However, our journey with Nutella wasn't without its hitches. We faced nozzle challenges, piston rod bends, and even vacuum lock issues. But as always, we're determined to get the best results and entertain our viewers.
So, what's next for our mighty Cylinder #200,000,000? We're taking suggestions! From butter to more exotic materials, we're ready to test the limits of our press. Dive into this episode and leave your suggestions in the comments.
Hit subscribe to stay updated with our latest experiments, and don't forget to like and share! Remember, with the Hydraulic Press Channel, the pressure is always on (literally and figuratively). Thanks for tuning in, and until next time, keep pressing on!

Do not try this at home!! or at any where else!!
Music Thor's Hammer-Ethan Meixell - Наука
I think I might machine custom piston for the cylinder 200 000 000 so they would be both indestructible but at least the cylinder can clearly take the pressure now :D
Our dear friend the Click-Bait/Safety Tape held like a champ.
To carry the Wet Fart theme through, you must laser extrude something through cheese; to Cut the Cheese.
A taller/thicker piston should do the trick!
I think you're creating enough pressure that the oils are coming out of suspension. The proteins are clumping and making a sifting medium for the oils.
I would like to see, you trying a non-Newtonian fluid in the Cylinder 200.000.000
@@adeptusmechanicus7572 Do this channel's levels of innovation make you want to scream "Tech Heresey?" Seems it should with that name, mate. 😉
Well, a bread sharting Nutella is now definitely one of the most things I've seen.
Hahahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Truly, one of the things of all time.
Lol I've not heard a stranger say shart before 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It has the sound affects too lol
The most what? Most creative? Most disgusting? Or?
What I'd like to see - cream pressed through a very small nozzle to see if it ends up being quick-whipped.
Sounds cool, would be interesting to see eggs as well
Check out a machine called microfluidizer
20 Elephants on top of a tea spoon in freedom units! hahahahahahaha :) This is incredibly precise!
“How did he die?” - “Somehow Nutella was involved!”
The medical term is called: shit head.
I think it would be really cool to put paint in different layers. As the layers come out it will change color and give a nice show while tearing through some material 😊
After all this years still funny and entertaining. Please keep on pressing
"The fart is the sharpest thing ever, it can go through the pants without making a hole" - Quote of the Year.
They called me the "nut laser" back in high school
I'm waiting for this Laser to be used in the next James Bond movie.
"No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to be chocolate filled"
"No Mr. Bond I expect you to nut."
Oh, you are allergic to nuts. Even better!
James Bond a trip to Taco Bell
I was imagining in the next Saw type movie, but... it's not nutella (narratively anyway).
For 2mm nozzle, work your way up in fluids. Maybe start with water, and then something slightly thicker like mineral oil and just go up from there until you find something that won’t pass through. I think it would be a really fun experiment and could lead to lots of videos, if you make it a process of “how thick is too thick”.
You can also make a video on beyond the press on how dangerous it is to vaporize mineral oil..
"How thicc is too thicc"
Finish up with tar or pitch to see how strong the press really is
@@DinJaevelI hadn't thought about how dangerous vaporized mineral oil could be but google says "Inhalation of vapor or particulates can cause aspiration pneumonia. Excessive doses may result in anal seepage and irritation. Other symptoms include lipid granuloma, lipid pneumonia, eczematous dermatitis, contact dermatitis, folliculitis, oil acne and melanosis." Doesn't sound too healthy.
@@vincent5981 I was mostly thinking about igniting vaporized mineral oil, but, yeah, anal seepage sounds bad.
An interesting substance to use with the 0.2mm nozzle would be simple hydraulic oil - to illustrate the dangers of searching for a hydraulic leak using your hands. Stay safe out there.
He has already done that video. ruclips.net/video/mFea7RNhw2w/видео.htmlsi=h726xtQRqJ9HZ4q_
I laughed so hars at the slow-mo of the bread sharting nutella. This made my day! I love this channel
“I think the medical term for this is a shithead”
Made my day 😆
Traumatic injection wounds of Nutella to a ballistic squirrel's head is why I never miss an HPC video. Quality content!
I once ate an entire jar of Nutella and experienced something very similar to this soon after. 🫣
I don't usually eat anything sweet so just one teaspoon of nutella was quite a shock for me :D That's some serious stuff :D
Was there a shitload of pressure? And what nozzle size did you use? :D
@@tommijii 🤔
@@tommijiiDidn’t know butt plugs came with nozzles.
So you had to buy a new pair of pants, or maybe you were wearing a skirt, and it blew around like Marilyn Monroe standing on the subway vent, just smellier.
You should have eaten an emergency block of cheese in order to counteract the eruption, but then in that case your stomach would have exploded like a cow eating too much alfalfa (it happens from the gases built up from the alfalfa digestion exploding in one of their stomachs. In extreme cases, the organ (rumen?) must be slit in order to release the gas before it explodes.
So the lesson here is don't eat too much Nutella or alfalfa, if you don't want dire consequences.
Imagine, as a child, someone had told you that one day you would be using a hydraulic press to make Nutella squirt out under pressure …
I wonder if egg whites would spray out as meringue? And would it get hot enough to be fully cooked meringue? Like silly string but meringue...
Oh that would be fun to see
I love how educational this can be
Thank you HPC, I always wanted to see a loaf of bread shart nutella.
I wonder if a ball in socket joint between the piston and rod would get rid of the bending problem?
I'd like to see the jet cut and apply food to the bread at the same time. Maybe a fan out nozzle or drag the bread while cutting. It might also be cool to have a pilot light going while spraying butter to see if it explodes when carburated.
so much adrenaline i had to take a water break. literaly watching the press never fails me! when im having a bad day i just put on HPC
Lauri and Hanna y'all rock! Love the channel and content! Peace
Pressure filling bread with nutella... This was surprisingly satisfying ;)
6:56 that is like... the reverse of me after really spicy food
The caution tape over the bread 🤣🤣🤣
The slo-mo deuce release was epic.
Exactly😂😂😂
My guy standing there eating the fastest Nutella on planet earth like it's just an average Tuesday.
reminded me of pre colonoscopy prep… 😂
i laughed harder than i shouldve when i saw the blast shield, it was like someone had explosive diarrhea on the wall
This episode was giant hilarious
Awesome video like always! Please make another dangerous crushing compilation!
At this rate you're going to have to write a book on cooking with the hydraulic press.
The "Taco Bell Camera" comment had me falling over with laughter.
I’m sure doctors see the occasional hydraulic injection injury with oil, but have they ever seen a hydraulic injection injury with NUTELLA!?!?
I think from now on I'll be showing this video to people when I need to illustrate how my food allergy affects me.
These videos are always so cool.
I had an idea, what if you put the items to be sprayed, on a rotating platform, like they use for clay? Then it would kinda slice things in half/apart with whatever sprays out of the nozzle, methinks.
Either way, we love these videos and your jokes! 😂
"It farted through the bread".
Imagine that quote on a T-shirt with no context. 😂
Cheese-Whiz into a canned ham. Ketchup and mustard into jumbo hotdog.
Next time, Nutella through a water jet at 60,000psi cutting through steel!
when the filling machine malfunctions 5:13
Saw the nozzle break off and thought "told ya to take water" XD But amazing way to give bread a shot of chocolate ^^
I think turning solids into lasers is my favorite use of the press.
A Nutella sandwich will never ever be the same in my mind again.
"Tastes like diabetes" 🤣 Laughing so hard here.
The sound of the gelatin squirrel eating Nutella in slow motion would make any sound designer for a horror movie wet their pants. It is the epitomic sound of gore.
5:13 : Bathroom break 3 hours after a Taco Bell 1944. Colorized.
A nozzle for a 3D printer might be useful here. Some printers use abrasive materials, so their nozzles have to be tough. They're made of sapphire!
things to try next week:- Strawberry jam, engine oil, butter, slime, peanut butter.
Pressure: If it doesn't work, you aren't using enough. 😂
I appreciate the conversion to Freedom Units
it's nice to see you more often in the video's.
Thanks for feedback! I have been trying this new format where I do most of the talking behind the press so you can see me on the actual video :D
Yeah keep up with that new format! Explaining thing when you're front of the camera will not lead to distraction. I think it gives more bound with the viewer. @@HydraulicPressChannel
Good video thanks for sharing
Congratulations! You've made a shart machine.
Milk would be a great one to test
6:39 my underwear after Taco Bell
Do you know nutella is produced with nuts? Hence the name...NUT ella.
How to turn really harmless stuff into something potential lethal.
The tastiest hydraulic injection injury ever.
It's not a LASER. Nutella Amplification by Stimulated Hydraulic Pressing or NASHP
Great job 👏👏 wonderful work 👍👍👍👍👍 my dear friend 🙏❤️
The Nutellajet Channel -- make it happen.
This video proves that any liquid is equally dangerous if the pressure is extremely high.
Words fail me, except for the words “words”, “ fail”, and “me”!
Before watching: Nutella is great!
After watching: Nutella is nasty.
5:22 Me in the morning when I eat a kebab in a sketchy place the night before.
With this you can inject Nutella directly into your stomach 😂
Now we can inject Nutella straight into the stomach.
»Tastes like diabetes«
... Lauri is a legend!
Soooo, you might actually be creating nanoparticles here. I did an internship in a lab once where they tested the health effects of ultra high pressure homogenized milk because the nanoparticles this method produces could affect nutrient uptake etc.
And guess what, this is basically how they prepared the milk!
Fortunately for you, it seems to have been unproblematic healthwise :D
Ahh, homogenisers, basically a fat smasher so you don't get cream lines in milk containers. I spent 11 years keeping those things running in a bottling plant. I wondered how long it would be before someone mentioned them here.
Maybe heathen the Nutella to something like 60 or 70 °C. You should definitely use Nutella to cut breads into slices.
7:00 Put on your headphones that sound is glorious!
As an American, I can confirm we measure pressure in Elephants Per Teaspoon. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to add a couple EPT to my tires. 😂
Why not try extruding Ballistic Squirrel? What a way to go!
Put the ballistic squirrel in the cylinder! Haha
Great video. I have a suggestion: Try pushing the Nutella through wood. Plywood, 1" thick pine, 2x4 and a 4x4.
This was so cool. Maybe try peanut butter and jelly or jam at the same time. Would make on heck of a good sandwich
I dont think I was ready for today, man.
Bravo!
The bread got the shits something fierce 😂😂😂
Can you put the bread in the cylinder and fire it through the jar of Nutella? 😂
7:01 lmao That noise was nasty.
Need to Collab with those slow motion guys!
I would love to see spraying some high proof ethanol past a lit candle
High speed chocolate shart laser.
Now you need a multi hole head for distributed chocolate insertion.
What about soft cheese or even sauce into a susage or cut of meat? Love your experiments, lots of fun too.
Please do extra content video at the end. Miss that fun
I will likely not eat Nutella for some time after watching this episode :)
Behold, the world's most expensive bread marbler

DT Swiss Wheelset - someone is into cycling!
it looks like you need to have a mechanism that passes the bread in front of the nozzle to allow it to completely slice the bread in half, then it will be sliced and evenly covered in nutella. lol
Reminds me of a morning after a dodgy take-away! 🙂
Water jet❌
Nutella jet✅
I walked into a truck stop restroom stall that looked just like 6:38
Well, on a few times you've mentioned that things have looked like spaghetti, maybe try some dough so it shoots out spaghetti?
U mentioned 2000bar but had u placed a transducer to cylinder we could have seen how much psi or kg or MPa pressure in the cylinder?
Also the pressing speed can be gradually increase so discharge of liquid through tiny hole is not increasing pressure beyond so damage to piston or cylinder is avoided.
A Hard cheese would be nice to see, instantly turned to something ready for your plate of steaming pasta
Priceless - I love the Finns - worked with them for years - they call a spade a spade - " wet fart , went through the pants without making a hole "
5:21 Me, after an Indian Curry buffet.
The bread shat itself
