Thank you so much Steve. This is a brilliant video and very informative too. You made it look very easy to change your wheel bearing and rotors with your step by step instructions all the way through. After watching this video I now believe I’m confident enough to tackle a big job like this one myself one day and owning a BF Falcon I will probably get that opportunity sooner rather then later. PS The quality of video footage taken in this video by your smartphones was really good HD. Audio was really good and clear too. 👍😎😉

You're most welcome mate. It's pretty straightforward as shown, but you likely will need to buy a socket as mentioned, as not many will have that size in their toolkit. Still; the cost of DIY will be FAR less than paying someone!👌👍👍(noteworthy now quite a few kms later - the drivers side hub is still fine)

Thanks Steve, very helpful to watch to brush up our knowledge before replacing the bearings. The caliper bolts seem to be 15mm, pretty ordinary steel heads. Could be 14.5mm as I have slightly rounded the head of the bolt. Am stuck at the moment, may have to put it back together and get it done at a mechanic.

Great video and it can be done for yorself withouth hudge coast. I have changed both front wheel bearing in pair ,because after removing two caliper mouthing bracket bolts I have used little chair support to put caliper and disc togeather for prevention of damage brake hose.It was easy for me and quick to put back rotors with caliper back and install two bolts and lock them 115 Nm.36 mm bearing nut I have locked with torque wrench 300Nm front one, rear one specification is 326Nm.I puchased hight torque wrench for this job, because if you over tighten bearing nut it can course premature bearing damage, because of heathing and if nut is not lock properly wheel can fail off specialy on rear one, because I have changed rear bearings too with hubs and CV joins. It was good time for replacing nolathane diff bushes and replace rebuild diff with new bearings purchased from wrecking yard. This job took me 4 days to finish with little help from neighbour when installing rear cradle back. After this big job my car has better ride preformance and constant clunk in diff disapired which was present on Falcon Ba 165000km.It was easy for me to do this job with Haynes repair manuel and RUclips video ,but also with my metal trade qualification fitter. After moving cradle outh and putting back is two holes on back for centering cradle "factory use pins"and after this procedure wheell aligment should be done.

Thanks about the video. Yes; if one does it themselves, it not only saves a fortune on paying for labour, but also; owners tend to be much more methodical in the process, which is always a good thing. I've replaced a few other items on my BA since this video (some I filmed, some I didn't), as well as made a few videos on other Ba series fixes and hacks, which you will either find some links to in the description area, or in some cases the video link at the end of this. Cheers!👌🙂🍻

@@stevanzaharic That sounds very interesting, especially since throttle control is fly by wire, not cable. A quicker way of resetting is simply touching + & - cables together when batt is disconnected. I find it extremely doubtful you'd gain anywhere remotely near 100km per tank from doing that however!

@@SteveMack ,From disconected - minus can be cover lead with rug from bottom and using wire with clip from that minus to plus+ live for 5 to 10 minutes and you can press brake pedal 5 six time and your computer or ECU will be factory reset. After that drive your can not over 70 km without forcing everything off AC,lights and when engine rich normal temperature stop car and left to idle in Drive 1 to 2 minutes. After that swich off engine in Drive postion and put ignition ON engine not starting press acelerator pedal down to end and holed for 2 to 3 minutes and after that put automatic in Park ignition OFF and foot off from accelerator. This is process of calibration and your car will run like never before because automatic, trotle flap TPS and pedal is calibrated + plus when you fill up yout tenk you will sea distance milage on panel more 100 km for sure.I"m doing this ever six monts and it recomended to do every season, because computer is running better and engine finding her factory parametars.Ofcourse only you have set radio clock and time nothing else.
