Honestly before watching this video I never thought about the environmental impact of gift wrapping, especially at Christmas. You truly opened my eyes and mind. I wholeheartedly thank you. All the gifts you wrapped looked absolutely gorgeous and elegant. Stop knocking yourself about your gift wrapping skills because everything looked perfect! Would like to add something that I started doing a few years ago with my kids. It was to save money, but now realized it’s better environmental impact. Instead of buying a million different rolls of gift wrap, I started buying only buying the brown craft paper. The person in our family giving the gift cuts off enough paper to wrap it. Then draws or colours or paints or prints meaningful words/quotes etc on the craft paper and then wraps the gift. This way only one (large) roll of paper is needed all year round for every occasion. Christmas tags are made this way too. Not going to lie, none have ever looked as elegant and gorgeous as yours. But we have fun together and it really does save money and storage space. This Christmas I will definitely start implementing your ideas for wrapping, by turning older/damaged Christmas decorations into beautiful gift embellishments. Instead of throwing them away. Could be a fun new tradition that my husband and I enjoy doing with our 3 kids. Added bonus* My husband will no longer be in the “doghouse” if something is found damaged when we open the Christmas decorations trunk he packs yearly lol Thank you, ❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦

Loved all of your wrapping ideas...thanks! Since we're doing more online shopping these days, I keep the kraft paper that's stuffed in the boxes and use that to wrap presents. It's a little bit wrinkly, but I think that adds to the rustic appeal!
My kids learned to open gift bags with the intent of using them again....🤣.....same with ornaments. My grandma used crocheted bells and snowflakes as decorations on presents, my mom used ornaments (in the 70’s) and when I was old enough and married I would (being honest with myself) use these options not only because my grandma and mom had done it - but to try and impress my MIL! I now do it for reusing all that I have because I like it and the vibe but also because it is good for the environment and our landfills. Plus I don’t really care if my MIL like sit or not anymore - it is for my family to enjoy -not her. Love this - it looks beautiful!
So I just found your channel, and omg I'm so happy to see someone that wraps presents like I do! Every year I have a color scheme and this year is brown craft paper with blue accents. All the add ons will be reused, I made origami christmas trees and they are going to go into our scrapbook as a reminder of this year.

I think it’s DIY with KB here on RUclips that did one spectacular piece using this paper. I’m doing mine today but how cool would it be to wrap your gifts in the paper, THEN use it to create a piece of art with it for everyone to enjoy?

I’ve actually seen some thrift stores sell normal wrapping paper that’s partially used or even new, along with crafting paper. So the thrift store is another option too
That is so very pretty. Any ideas how to best wrap presents that one sends via mail? Due to Covid I won't be able to see my family, but I still want to wrap some nicely, but usually they get squished in the box :S
I am new to your channel the gift wrapping was very elegant and beautiful. I am sorry that I don't know any eco friendly trips. I know that I try and use a lot of what you used on your gifts. I have used the $tree scarfs and cut the into strips and used it for ribbon. I also like to make over old Christmas cards into new ones or gift tags. I know it may sound silly, but I always put all my gift tags on the back of the gift, one if the homemade gift tag from made over cards don't match, know one is going to see it unless they turn it over. I do try my best to match the gift tags to the wrapping paper. The second reason I don't like the gift tags on the front, I think they take away all the hard work thay you just did decorating the gifts.
