Me being a history nerd, and me also trying not to sound like an um actually, here I go. I just wanted to say, that the British did not win the battle of the Somme, and sure, tanks scared the Germans, but they were slow, weak, and easily broke down, especially in the muddy Somme battlefield. Their first use, tho, was a Cambrai, where even though they didn’t do the greatest, and a lack of coordination cost Britain the battle, it was still a important battle, showing the potential of tanks.

Fun fact:The German Empire did not start World War 1, a Serbian Nationalist in Serijavo that killed the Archduke of Austria-Hungary did. The Germans had the blame and the war guilt put on them because of the massive amount of losses that both sides had during the war.
