I don’t know why but it was so funny to me when you said you think of infinite as a bright group😭 cause whenever I heard their name, the first thing that comes to my mind is rock and heavy electric guitar sound 😂🖤 they actually were known for their dark concepts along with their live vocals and synchronized dance, but it’s true that they had their own bright songs like “man in love” which was a huge hit. I don’t think they show half of their talents in this video, it seems as if they did it just for fans and sang bunch of their old songs to bring back memories since they came back after such a long time. During their prime, they were the male counterpart of SNSD in term of synchronized dancing. You can watch their live performance and see how accurate all the members timed and hit their moves, it was amazing to see. Those 3 first songs they sang (and "before the dawn") made it into my kpop playlist solely because of their choreo. I think about how synched their dancing was each time i listen to those songs

Yes, you are right Nam Woo Hyun is an actor and has acted in some k dramas. The person to his left (holding the water bottle) is also a big actor...Known as L or his name is Kim Myung soo. Sunjong is the one all the way to the left and is the maknae. He is a vocalist, not in the dance line. Although they are were known for their synchronization.
It’s interesting how this killing voice rally makes them seem like a bright group when their title tracks have most of the time been nothing but dark and dramatic. Their main sound is full of electric guitar and synth but they barely sang any of these title tracks. I guess they just chose the bright songs in order to have a good time and for the fans like many others already mentioned here

Happy being back and can do what they love. They choose all the old songs for Inspirits. While others close with their new release Infinite closed with their song for their fans from their movie Grow. Which followed them on their world tour. When I started liking Kpop with the second generation I went back to the first groups and except of Shinhwa I couldn't relate to any of them. So I understand the "oldschool" feeling of you who cam into Kpop with the worldwide hype. While I totally lost connection when Bangtan Boys (now BTS) and Bap and some more groups with this new bad boys style appeared. One of them had such bad behavior towards other groups. I ignore them until now. A good group can adjust their style to modern music that's why you like New Emotions. Well known for not only adjusting but also bringing up new vibes to Kpop was Shinhwa. I think what many new Kpop fans not know or understand. Without the second generation no one would know Kpop now. They fought, had world tours in tiny halls with maybe a few hundred people in the audience. So even when it seems to be oldschool. That groups are not adjusted to an international market but are the pure Kpop which brought the success and recognizing to the world. I saw so many concerts with only view people and always thought. Wow they fill big halls in asia but they still do this small to bring Kpop to the rest of world. I am not saying newer groups don't work hard, all of them do. Kpop is a tough market and the laws to protect those young people are really bad. Many really good groups never make it. Like I went back to find the roots of Kpop I sometimes wish new Kpop reactor would do flashbacks more often to show how it started and why it became that big how it is now.
After 13 year I love love INFINITE has not changed, for they are still the lovable chaotic group I love. Since being under their own Company INFINITE Company with Kim Sung Kyu the Leader of INFINITE and the CEO of INFINITE Company, I love watching these lovely boys more relaxed and having a super fun time. I could not stop laughing and smiling when Sungyeol started dancing.
I just want to say...THANK YOU. For giving them a chance. It is been a while since I am trying to at least make people listen to their songs and I have heard a lot of excuses that broke my heart. "They are not that beautyfull as the new generations", :They do not look good at all", "Nam Woo Hyun's voice is to nosesy for me", "Not my style", etc most of them came without that people actually listening to them. They brought so much things into the world of KPop yet a lot of people are like "Who the heck are you?". For a lot of them KPop means BTS and they forget that BTS is only 3'rd generation and that they recievd a lot from their sunbaes. Infinite has been through so much things during this 14 years and the fact that a lot of people refuse to aknowledge them is just heartbreaking. Nam Woo Hyun survived rare cancer and overcame the pronostic of not being able to sing like before (let alone dance again). Sungjeong, the maknae has been critisesd a lot for his feminine side. Kim Myung Soo overcame a huge depresion provoked by THE BIG GLOW SCANDAL. He wanted to leave Infinite so that the people (so called fans) would stop boycotting INFINITE's activities because of his relationship. He had to sing with a teddybear on stage because he couldn't make eye contact with fans out of fear that he might see their hate against him. He had and I believe still has nose bleedings during the night because of tirdeness. He showed he was carrying in his bag a quarter of farmacy full of vitamins and suplements to resist both with singing and acting. Kim Sung Kyu sold his freaking house to open INFINITE COMPANY for his members. Also back in the day their former CEO did the same to support them, and Sung Kyu bought his house back when they reached a certain popularity. Jang Dong Woo has worked so much both to achive his vocal potential and to fill in the void that Hoya left when he left the group. And Sungyeol....oh dear...that man has never treated one of his bad moods or depresions because he was more preocupied to cure his members possible depresions and bad moods. "If they are good,I feel good" Their former company freaking lost half of their work of years because they were incapable of doing a backup to their files and protect its singers. Do you know they had to sing on the streets and promote themselvs through realities and tv shows ALL BY THEMSELVES to survive? People call me overdramatic and obbsesed with them. I am just proud of them and thankful to people like you that at list gave them a chance. Even though they might not be your taste the fact that you aknowledged them it is a mega win for them. ❤ Thank you so much for listening. They were famous for singing songs with opposite two themes, ‘refreshing’ and ‘obsession’, very well. When you think of Infinite's song, these two keywords are the first thing that comes to mind. Surprisingly, the member who looks like the main character of a K-drama you mentioned is the person who first popularized the famous 'K finger heart❤'. Nam woo hyun.
Dongwoo (the most hype guy in this video) is the main rapper and main dancer but he sings very well too. In my opinion, he is the 3rd best singer in INFINITE after Woohyun and Sungkyu. It just that L also is a great vocalist and their team's center so it's normal that Dongwoo got to rap more than singing.
I mean I do prefer L's voice (he did improve A LOT in the last few comebacks) but yeah Dongwoo is still a very close 4th for me! I just love his voice T_T
9:19 during that time, this member was still recovering from his surgical stitches because of his operation due to RARE CANCER (GIST). I can't believe Woohyun still achieved his high note parts even WE know it's still difficult to put some force cuz the stiches on his stomach might stretches since it's still very fresh wound😢😭🥺 I'm so proud of you Woohyun ✨🥰
A lot of Gen 2 idols do have vibes and types of songs that maybe not all more recent kpop fans will enjoy and new emotion fits more with that so I understand why you would enjoy it and not the rest. Its just different tastes, and personally I prefer their older and more emotional songs, they really bring all kinds emotions from my heart T_T I love them.

They recently established their own company despite renewing their contracts with Woolim. They also known as the most synchronized 3rd gen Kpop group. You should watch their live performance. I think the 3rd gen ends in 2017 and 4th gen started with the boyz debut (December 2017) and usually the gen duration In K-pop is about 7-8 years, not 10 years (because the duration of companies’ contracts is 7 years), so it can be said that the fourth generation ends at the end of this year.

Thery are 2gen group. None of therm is in Woollim anymore.
They all have individual contracgs but not with Woolim anymore.

OMG thank yoooou :( INFINTE are really incredibly talented that they build their previous company with their own success, literally the didn't have a building they used to rent a small room under restaurant to practice and they made their own choreography and the ceo sold his house to produce a hit song and they became so popular in korea at that time it was impossible for unknown companies to be popular now Woolim is successful company and have many artists thanks to INFINITE. i would like to see you react to more songs of them they have many hidden masterpieces and the lyrics are another level!! and yes you are right nam woohyun is a main actor in a kdrama.
