I did it the exact same way, but came to youtube to see if this got accepted. I'm glad to hear it did. There are a bit fussy with how you name the files though, so I have to check this again as I don't remember if ISBN number is enough as a file name or if I need sth else in the name.

I noticed you made a video on BookVault printing recently, any chance you could possibly make a similar video on formating a hardcover for BookVault printing using Canva for both Cover and Interior file? I'm trying to work it out, but for the life of me it doesn't seem to look right in the BookVault preview.

You can. I didn’t do that with Canva because you can’t set up facing pages and I wanted to line up the illustrations. I used Mac pages at the time. Now I use indesign for the cover and interior. If you use Canva make sure to export as CMYK for print.

Hi Emma, great video! I previously published a softcover of my children's book on KDP. I wanted to do a hardcover version so I went to Ingramspark. I uploaded the interior content pdf that I had for KDP. It is a 8.5 x 8.5. I uploaded my same cover that I used for KDP before I looked into it, Foolish on my part so I am already anticipating the cover getting rejected. My book is 28 pages and 8.5x8.5 so what would my dimensions be in inches for my cover? For my KDP softcover it was 17.30 x 8.75 inches.
