Rita Ganguly (or was it Shanti Hiranand) accompanied Begum Akhtar. B. A. brought the Hall down with a Stellar Concert.. Thousands of people were standing OUTSIDE the Venue hoping to listen to a note of hers / or atleast have a glimpse of B.A. She was terribly moved. She had to exit thru a Side Gate ! Entire Hyderabad was at this Concert ! Roads were full at 1 AM when the concert ended, and Police had a tough time controlling crowds.
