Considering what you get with the Portofino, it's actually pretty well priced.
Wheels, engine, seats, doors, roof etc. My Juke has all those and cost me £9,000 secondhand.

I also noticed it. I mean - they develop the car SO MUCH! Why can't you put more power to the TouchScreen. Shame
and it's position is wrong, too low, so the driver will be distracted while driving. In Stelvio & Giulia QV is higher & looks better....
It is a shame because that isn't actually exclusive to Ferrari, it's an infotainment system used on other FCA's cars. The shape of the screen is custom, but the hardware and software isn't.
When you're selling top end luxury, I expect from you at least decent electronics. No excuse.
BTW the lag problem seems to be common to many luxury brands, unfortunately.
At least its neatly integrated into the dash, unlike the "iPad suck to the dash with blu-tac" look that so many manufacturers are going with these days.

Me too. I had a 458 Spyder and really enjoyed it. The 488 Spyder has zero turbo lag but simply is just too quick for non-track use. The quickness of the 488 removes holding the higher revs on some back roads and highways. Both are gorgeous cars and fun to track:-)

It's Lambor that goes angular, Nissan goes somewhat angular too closer to a kind of robotical body. Ferrari has somewhat maintain curvy, not angular in their eyes or headlights. It's was Lambor that's used to have angular eyes/head lights. Now the new Ferrari is going angular in their eyes/headlights to look more aggressive. But in change of modern, aggressiveness could be defined by curvy eyes also. They have the right but it's closer to Lambor style. I hope they will not start looking like Lambor someday. IT'S just an observation, not to put Ferrari down.

This car is kind of dull looking for a Ferrari. Unfortunately, you have to start with this model first because Ferrari wants you to be a "Client" which means that you start with their base model - the Portofino.

Pierre François I’m guessing that it’s a dealer spec car. When dealers spec out a car they try like crazy to choose mainstream (boring) colors and options to capture an interest with the widest possible customer base. They spec out the cars that will avoid offending at the expense of being unique or “one of a kind”.
I wonder how Ferrari is doing sales wise because they HATE new customers. They only like repeat customers in their 60's. Try telling them you going to buy your new 488 with cash and you're a first time buyer. Prepare for scolding and being ignored and getting an attitude like they're doing you the favor so you better suck up to Ferrari to be given permission to buy their cars.
Lamborghini and McLaren are a complete 180. They WANT to sell cars and have a great continuing relationship with customers. Ferrari is more like "you owe us". Why Ferrari, why?

I was a return customer of this very dealer and they wouldn’t sell me a new car as I was promised. Went to dealer I had never been to two weeks later and bought a brand new 458. Never been back to Jersey dealer since.
what was the reason they told you they wont sell it to you?
They said I'd have to buy a California or FF to get on the list. I already bought a 430 spider there way over list and was promised an order for a new car when I was ready (non limited edition). I wanted the 488 but they said I had to also buy one of the other ones first. I actually looked at a 458 there and considered buying that but they literally never got back to me with a price or option list for that vehicle (it was in stock there. customer car coming off 6 month ROFR). They could have given me that info right than and there. No customers were in the showroom. They knew I was qualified buyer having spent 350k on a 430 already. They said they would email me the info. Never heard from them. Their loss. Lost a 458 sale. An upcoming 488 Spider sale. An upcoming Portofino sale and also if I ever buy a Bentley can guarantee it won't be from them either. My new Ferrari dealer thanks them and has the utmost gratitude for their incompetence.
