For those curious the reason why I didn't include Leon's Charizard in the end drawing was cause I felt it was a bit too distracting when the whole point was to change/focus on Leon~
Though I gotta say I do miss drawing dragons a bit haha~

herotube 14667 ikr, that's not just a simple character redesign. It's an entirely new character concept right there. This redesign of Leon completely changes his entire SwSh character. Leon is still a kid in an adult body. He doesn't take things seriously, he likes to laugh with his bro, and he's all genuine smiles and happy. He's not serious 24/7, and it's offputting seeing this design of him and then seeing people online think this is better than the original. It doesn't work.

1. Typically, characters portrayed as “cool/impressive/tough” in American media have that expressed through their appearance more. With British things, they’re a bit less scared to make their intimidating characters occasionally look like complete and utter dorks.
2. The sports uniform part is missing aside from the shirt, which doesn’t really look uniform-like on its own.
You know, I was thinking that the redesign looked a bit more like N, which is funny considering N is from Unova (i.e. Pokémon’s America)

Outfit wise hell yeah your Leon is way way more badass it fits the theme gives him station and avoids looking too eclectic , but it almost looses his character in the face and hair along the way, just in the hair and face tho everything else is a god tier redesign great job !
