Hi Hello This module works between 7V - 12V DC and a current of 800mAh-1Ah. If you've powered it directly to the + and - terminals and it doesn't light up, it's faulty.
@@CMCdiy Thank you for your reply, I tested it with a 12V supply as well and it is dead! A bit disappointing as its too cheap to send back and makes you wonder if it's worth buying another one now that I have modified the radio.. but thank you of posing your video on how to do this.

I have followed this with exactly the same components, and the USB Module does not even light up, any advice? Is it supposed to work on 9V DC??
