Bro, if you are from Cuddalore, then the shortest route will be Madurai, Trichy, thozhudhur, thittakudi, virudhachalam, Neyveli, vadalur, Cuddalore bro. If you are interested in coming in travels buses, there are 2 to 3 buses available regularly like VPS AST, VAIGAI TRAVELS, Orange travels bro.
