The OG lineup was awesome, but with the addition of the ex Unearth guitarist Ken Susi and Ryan Neff from Miss May I on bass/Vocals, I gotta admit that this is one hell of a strong old school metalcore lineup.
@@personreanimation 100% agree. I saw some of his live streams and he really seemed a nice dude. Unearth really helped to shape the metalcore scene back in the days. Tbh, I don't even understand why they're not more talked about. I know people talk about them when they release something new, but I feel like after all those years, they're not appreciated enough for what they did for the core scene. Maybe that's just me.
It turns out that Phil was always the main guy behind those AILD riffs that everyone knows and loves, the new additions are all amazing especially the new cleans but man those Phil riffs just always hit different
The teenager in me went ballistic when I seen and heard this track. The sound of truth and nothing more are my all time favorites too! Also I'm 32 now lol
I’ve been waiting so patiently. Literally checking AILD social media pages every other day for a new song. I will always miss Jordan, Josh, and Nick but they did and amazing job with the new members. I have no complaints! The song was so awesome! Love your channel bro!
One of my all time favorite bands! In a metal climate of technicality and in my opinion “heavy for the sake of heavy”, they are a constant go to for melody and guitar shredding. So good 💪🔥
Correct. Nick Pierce plays drums with a jazz crip. I was blown away by this, then I saw him with Unearth a couple of years ago. Insanity when compared to his velocity and power 🤯🤘
im just happy since they have been one of my favorite band forever. Also the fact that i'm kind of getting tired of the heavy slow breakdown and having some high energy running/training kind of metalcore is one of my main reason why i love this style of music, also why electric callboy are one of the band i listen the most since i discovered them. Thanks for the reaction and good job like always
I love early to mid 2000's metalcore and AILD just do that style so well. It's unfortunate that the other members left, but this version of the band sounds just as good as the original members. Josh joined Spiritbox too so that's pretty cool. I love them. I hope they use his vocals a little more in the future. Some back and forth parts between him and Courtney would be so good.
Yeah, nobody reacts or talks about it, although it is really good. i mean aidan is a twisted dude, but tim lambesis wanted to kill his wife and went to prison for it …
The song is a banger but the LYRICS!!!! OUCH! So cutting. You know who the Burden and deadweight is. Talk about not holding back and letting someone know how you feel. Whew.
HE DIDN'T KILL HER. Conspired to, yes.... but man he hired to carry out the hit turned out to be an undercover cop and Tim did his time for the conspiracy.
@@MrJordwalk it doesn't matter. After he did his time in Jail all the other members of the band that were psychologicaly abused by him left the band because he didn't change. He still is an abusive and problematic person that views killing as an option. It's not like Ronald that after he did his time he paid for the recovery of both his victims. Views himself as the villain and doesn't shy from change. No. As I Lay dying died and Tim is a person that didn't learn shit.
@@ThiagoCRocha-fh6lg🤣🤣🤣🤣 Josh and nick knew what was up. Nick and them just came back that one time cause they knew it would sell huge because there woven ward or whatever tanked badly. They got their last piece of $ and bounced. Atleast Josh left only to opportunity, and not tried to make it such a drama show
Perfect example of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I enjoyed the new yet very familiar sound and it was cool as hell
Exactly! I do miss the original clean vocals but this definitely makes up for it. Definitely looking forward to part 2.
The OG lineup was awesome, but with the addition of the ex Unearth guitarist Ken Susi and Ryan Neff from Miss May I on bass/Vocals, I gotta admit that this is one hell of a strong old school metalcore lineup.
Ken Susi is so underappreciated. Everytime I saw Unearth the dude was shredding so fucking hard and was also such a nice dude.

@@personreanimationdepends how drunk he was. Ha. I saw them once and he was awesome. Next show he did a beer bong on stage and was sloppy af. 😂
Dude I didn't know that. Host shit no wonder it slaps lol
People hate that they are still amazing. AILD Forever.
I wanted to say the same but dude this track is def fire it's def a rebirth waiting to see how the whole album turns out \m/
I love how he comes back and is just like “yeah, we invented it, and we are the best to ever do it, so have a seat “
Tim and Phil just know how to write fun metal
Was that the clean singer for Miss May I?
yes, he joined As I Lay dying when Josh left for Spiritbox
Yep ryan neff he's def part of the metalcore scene I'd have him on my roster anyday
@@scottturner8159 I'll be honest, I didn't think I would like his vocals but that first track made me eat my words real quick
The singer from Miss May I fits very well in this song. As I Lay Dying just dropping a peak track in 2024 🔥🔥🔥
its funny how i had no idea that the new vocalist was from MISS MAY I, and i INSTANTLY knew who it was when i heard part 2. Such a great voice!!!
It turns out that Phil was always the main guy behind those AILD riffs that everyone knows and loves, the new additions are all amazing especially the new cleans but man those Phil riffs just always hit different
Only 2 original members left in the band, but they're still killing it with this one
Miss Earth Lay Dying
As Earth Lays Missing
As I May I
@@xavierdube6520😂 that was good

Gives me some old "Shadows are Security" vibes and I absolutely fucking love it!
This song proves it feels like they never left. Banger.
All AILD songs are 8.0 and above, prove me wrong
WE ARE SO FUCKING BACK
10
Clean vocalist is Ryan Neff, from Miss May I, great singer
A kick ass dude too he's def a kick ass musician and dude
@@scottturner8159 hell yeah dude, wrong choice of words, I probably should of used the word musician instead of singer! haha, 100% agree with ya
Golden membership is this:
Tim Lambesis- vocals
Phil Sgrosso - guitar
Nick Hipa - guitar
Josh Gilbert - bass/vocals
Jordan Mancino - drums
period.
Josh Gilbert will always stand alone but Ryan Neff did his thing on this
Yeah but both are still def the goats of metalcore foreal

I feel like a 40 year old teenager listening to as I lay and can’t wait to see them in August in cali
One of my all time favorite bands! In a metal climate of technicality and in my opinion “heavy for the sake of heavy”, they are a constant go to for melody and guitar shredding. So good 💪🔥
Straight banger. Love me some AILD, old AND new.

This song is great. Hopefully new album soon.
First all that remains then as I lay dying. Bring on the metalcore!! As soon as that first riff hit all you can do is smile.
Alex, Pablo, and Jake from Chelsea Grin are all back together with a new project too!
August Burns Red vibes on some of this. Awesome track.
Downward punch gang rise up 👊
Already added this to my gym playlist, classic AILD song gets me pumped!
This track has been on repeat since release.
No one will ever replace Josh!

I agree, SpiritBox has got to use Josh's cleans more. Him and Courtney would sound incredible together
I love the metal gear solid sounds for the pros and cons lol
What a banger god damn
Got to do Sea Of Treachery song as well very well done classic metalcore
can anyone explain why this is fine to react to but not the new dealer album
Yeah, nobody reacts or talks about it, although it is really good. i mean aidan is a twisted dude, but tim lambesis wanted to kill his wife and went to prison for it …
My Bluetooth connected in the middle of the songs In a way It created an insane silence when they bag the body 😂 It was too good for no reason
Man, Im happy for Ryan Neff. 😅
I think u did another react video of a music video I was also in the bands name is bend the knee prodigal son
I like it a lot
AILD used to be my favourite band and while they will never get back there after what transpired with Tim, glad to see some new bangers.
Funny . nothing left/ sound of truth and anodyne sea my gym repeats 😂
🔥🔥🔥
Ryan neff from miss my i 😮
Ayyyy i see someone watches How to beast!! Lol 👀
Not just any clean singer, but Ryan fucking Neff from miss may I
I hope u liked the song and video I'm the actor in the video getting kidnapped and possessed

I don't think you like giving out 9's 😂
You'll react to as I lay dying but not dealer? Odd.
I dunno. Doesn't have the same energy I'm used to from the OG lineup. It's good, but doesn't hit like it used to.
Dude, if you didn’t know Josh and Nick left the band you wouldn’t be able to tell any different lmao it sounds just like AILD
