Wade was (and at times still is) a great player. But at no point has he ever been better than Lebron. He was more clutch and at times a better scorer, but he wasn't as good overall as Lebron. Maybe he could've been if he had added a 3 point shot, but we'll never know.
lebron is just now developing his 3 point game he was never consistent with it before, and dwade is the best player pound for pound since allen iverson. The only reason he doesnt score or assist as much is because prior to lebron joining them, he had a terrible supporting cast full of old or extremely young players. Lebrons teams were shit too but not as bad as miamis supporting cast. Even now dwade makes a bunch of great passes but they simply dont convert
***** being small doesnt have its advantages in a game like basketball, it doesnt gurantee youre faster or stronger or anything, smaller players generally have to stay at the top of the key. being bigger is clearly an advantage in basketball if kevin durant or lebron were wades size, theyd still be phenomenal but not nearly as good. Being bigger gives you longer arms, longer legs so you can go over defenders much easier, being smaller forces you to have to maneuver around your defenders, something wade in his prime did and he would also go straight at them as if he was a big man which is why his body took so much abuse.
Wait guys, even if your small, or big, that personifies on how great you are, Spud Webb can dunk and he is 5'7, Nate Robinson is 5'9 and he dunks too, Muggsy Bogues, a great defender and passer, as for big man like LeBron, big fast and strong, wait, I made a rhyme!
Id have to say something about that though.. when you think about it Wade led the league in scoring in 09 and was crazy dominant! Lebron won MVP only because he had a better record but wade was like top 20 in blocks! was shooting the three very nicely that season still needed some work on that though and besides that was top 5 i believe in steals maybe even led at some points in the season, and ofcourse like always clutch all the way through! if he did all this WITHOUT a great three point shot and If he stayed healthy plus never formed aliance with lebron. Hes basically just as good as lebron without a three.... says alot when you think about it man. All that was missing was a three point shot he can fall back on and he wouldve been imo better than lebron
Looking at these almost, two decades old games, LeBron was unbelievable and Wade was terrific! If he and Wade had teamed up, a few years earlier, they would have won four or five chips. LeBron is still fast but he ain’t this version of LeBron fast.
if you look at lebrons supporting cast, it wasnt much better than dwade's supporting cast when miami was constantly a low playoff seed. that tells you how great lebron was in regular seasons
I'm pretty sure he did show up dude he helped save their ass against Indiana in games 4, 5, and 6 and made some huge plays against Boston. He averaged like 25 5 and 5 in the finals which is a great statline but it was just overshadowed by Lebrons greatness in the finals.
Bruh, wade was like a mini lebron back in those days. Remember wade used to do chase down blocks too... ppl must of forgot. Too bad his knees breaking down on him tho
ok they almost made the playoffs in the weak conference (east, back then) once. what an amazing accomplishment. they will talk about that 20 years form now 4 sure...
As far as number 2, Chris Bosh has more to offer to Miami than Dwade. This is because he can do things and fill gaps Lebron can't. When it was just Lebron and/or Bosh both were able to put up the best numbers of their careers so far and the team is winning over 94% of it's games. But the same teams they blew out they got beat when Wade was playing. When Wade plays Lebron has to play bigger which hinders both Lebron and Bosh. Wade is one of my favorite players but I'm not blind
against the knicks???? maybe by the Pacers in the semis.and lets not forget, that Wade was injured, and u and i both know that! there were games that James took over, and vice versa! in the finals?? absolutely,James was THE man!
funny how wade didnt show up this whole playoffs but knee drain is an excuse but if it was the opposite lebron james would have been sacrifice by now smh somethings just not fair.
ya lebron is an amazing passer which allowed him to go catch and overall gave him more oppurtunities when lebron had the ball this probably was the same for delonte
in 2012 heat were 12-1 with without wade with lebron and/or bosh. 16-1 since 2011. When Wade doesn't play the heat's offense is ridiculous Fastbreak looks like it's on 'roids. Not that Wade is not a great player (top 5 at least) but he tries to do too much by himself. Statistically, when Wade doesn't play, Lebron and Bosh almost make up the difference. which means Wade's contribution is close to o or detrimental. That's why Chris Bosh is their 2nd mvp. That being said Wade is still a boss.
What? Did the commentator just say Mo Williams and Delonte West are 'one of the best backcourts in the NBA'? WHAT WAS HE SMOKING AND WHERE CAN I GET IT?
Im pretty sure i said HE WAS TORONTO. he was the reason they were going to the playoffs. look at what wade did without Lebron and bosh and a decent team, lost in the playoffs. same with Lebron. i'll say wade got a championship, but that's cause he had a helpful Shaq. Of course Bosh didn't go to the playoffs cause he was the only guy that put up points on the team.
they couldve been best if wade wasnt so injury prone and dealing with two bad knees 3 out of the 4 years together :( im gonna miss this D.Wade... i dont think he cares much about being a top contender anymore i think the age thing has gotten to his head
they blew out the spurs and the lakers and handed the pacers their worst loss of the season. Lebron at 35-9-9 a game, Bosh at 25-12 a game. They'd miss Wade in the playoffs but in the regular season he's a detriment. Subtracting Wade and Bosh, Lebron still has better teammates than any of his cleveland teams. and he's won 60+ twice. (both times within the fist 75 games) add Bosh and their is a 70+ win team. Now add wade and you get 55-59ish. When Wade is on the court, Lebron statistically is
Delonte has never averaged 13 points in a season EVER. And Mo Williams averaged 17 his first year with the Cavs and 15 his second. But Williams and West is not even close to a good back court they were both inconsistent as hell.
at 75% and Bosh is about 65-70%. Not to mention Chalmers whose almost 18 ppg when Wade is gone. When Wade hasn't played the heat, Their offense is unstoppable. Wade is better than Bosh but not more valuable to Miami. Just look at what happened last year: They destroy the lakers with Bosh(no Wade) and then get clobbered with Wade (no Bosh). 32-17 this year when Wade is a starter. If Wade sat out a year I bet Miami would get 73 wins.
i have an idea. lets all get together when everyone else gets old and we can win championships together instead of competing for them, it will be soooo easy
@kyrell rellytv actually it does not sound like Boston at all. Miami had 3 of the top 12 players in the league all younger than 30. Lebron & Bosh (26) and Wade (29). Boston absolutely DID NOT have 3 of the top 12 I can argue they didn't have 3 of the top 20 and they were all 30 and older. PAST THEIR PRIME. They were traded to Boston not Free Agents int heir prime getting together when in fact they should be carrying their teams and competing unlike Miami, struggling vs old teams
This is when Lebron James gave up on Cleveland Cavs and they formed a Superteam in Miami to win 2 championships! Now as you look back at Lebron James's 4 championships you realize how he was able to win them, by recruiting or joining other All Star players in the NBA! If you can't beat the best, then you should join the best!" Quote by Lebron James himself!
Just go to basketball reference. You have to actually sift through these games and numbers on your own and here are things to consider: -Lebron and Wade do much of the same things. -Lebron does it better. - 97% of the time you never see the big 3 have great games together(someone ALWAYS has a bad night shooting) -32-17(with) versus 12-1(without). and further more miami's record when Wade shoots 16 or fewer baskets is 15-4 versus 17-12! But with Lebron and Bosh its the OPPOSITE.
I called off work to watch this game the fact it wasn't on national TV is crazy
that acrobatic layup to start the game was crazy then that dunk at the end ...mannnn... young lebron
I miss these games... It was such a healthy rivalry!
Wade was (and at times still is) a great player. But at no point has he ever been better than Lebron. He was more clutch and at times a better scorer, but he wasn't as good overall as Lebron. Maybe he could've been if he had added a 3 point shot, but we'll never know.

You are crazy lol get off lebron lol
Those 2 are on my favorite all time players list(also in the top 5)😂😂😂
Looking at these almost, two decades old games, LeBron was unbelievable and Wade was terrific! If he and Wade had teamed up, a few years earlier, they would have won four or five chips. LeBron is still fast but he ain’t this version of LeBron fast.
If Wade never gets injured, he's easily the best player since Jordan.
10:02 shows the sportsmanship from both top players, so touching
Back in the days, they used to go at it!!!!!
if you look at lebrons supporting cast, it wasnt much better than dwade's supporting cast when miami was constantly a low playoff seed. that tells you how great lebron was in regular seasons
Mo Williams was an Allstar that year
and mo was never an all star again after lebron left
great battle between these too we need more wade videos man keep em coming
Man D WADE and LeBron are soo FAST!!
I'm pretty sure he did show up dude he helped save their ass against Indiana in games 4, 5, and 6 and made some huge plays against Boston. He averaged like 25 5 and 5 in the finals which is a great statline but it was just overshadowed by Lebrons greatness in the finals.
Pat Riley is in the audience thinking "Soon"
Bruh, wade was like a mini lebron back in those days. Remember wade used to do chase down blocks too... ppl must of forgot. Too bad his knees breaking down on him tho
ok they almost made the playoffs in the weak conference (east, back then) once. what an amazing accomplishment. they will talk about that 20 years form now 4 sure...
bosh put up 24 and 12. they were going to the playoffs but bosh broke his nose in a key game. he was toronto.
9:57 That was simply beautiful... a real game of basketball
He said Brandon Roy had the steal high at 10. There's another player that was a beast. He could drop a quiet 40 without all this flash.
wade, 7 steals on "one of the better backcourts in the NBA".
Wade was the best player period 2005, 2006, 2008, 2011
Well they averaged a combined for 30+ points, Mo was an allstar and delonte played exceptional
As far as number 2, Chris Bosh has more to offer to Miami than Dwade. This is because he can do things and fill gaps Lebron can't. When it was just Lebron and/or Bosh both were able to put up the best numbers of their careers so far and the team is winning over 94% of it's games. Wade should have won the MVP in this year.
mo was an all-star one year and delonte was good before but somehow I still agree
That dunk at the end by bron Bron my goodness 😂
funny how wade didnt show up this whole playoffs but knee drain is an excuse but if it was the opposite lebron james would have been sacrifice by now smh somethings just not fair.
ya lebron is an amazing passer which allowed him to go catch and overall gave him more oppurtunities when lebron had the ball this probably was the same for delonte
I Agree 45 15 and 5 in an Elimination Game hostile environment even Boston fans can admit to that the King clutch just appreciate and stop hating .
Wade Vs LeBron best head to head match
in 2012 heat were 12-1 with without wade with lebron and/or bosh. 16-1 since 2011. When Wade doesn't play the heat's offense is ridiculous Fastbreak looks like it's on 'roids. That being said Wade is still a boss.
If D.Wade could consistently hit 3's then this statement would be true
This match-up back then was better than Kobe vs. LeBron games against each other
when dwade was the best player in the world, smh i miss this fuck injuries
Those who say he isnt should watch this game right here
4:07 BEAST
Clutch is something they both got, just stop hating....
I miss this wade
Lebron's #2 option was Mo Williams that should tell u there what kind if squad he had to work with......
o0o0o0o00o so this is why 94% of the nba fans hated the heat when these two got together lmao
That's the true Dwyane Wade.. The best among others.
lebron had a much better supporting cast at the time
because of Lebron. How do you think Mo Williams got to be All-Star?
Lebrain 13:18 LMFAO!!!
if we could get this lebron james and fuse him with the post game lebron james, we would have the greatest player of all time
the best battle they ever had
If only Lebron had better teammates in cleveland, that's probably one of the worst supporting casts ever.
Type in nba playoffs 2011 lebron clutch moments
In that era i think d'wade better than kobe...
Lets just face it, they should have never teamed up, we could have saw so many more battles like this.
Now we can, hope D-wade's knees hold up.
but we saw an awesome partnership and best duo in nba
ThePeKk1 wouldn't say "best" but both teams are still contenders in my book, atleast in the eastern conference.
they couldve been best if wade wasnt so injury prone and dealing with two bad knees 3 out of the 4 years together :( im gonna miss this D.Wade... i dont think he cares much about being a top contender anymore i think the age thing has gotten to his head
the day when two mj competing on floor
2013 gona be just as good if not better
the 8th seed means they are in the playoffs though...correct? wade and bron had solid pieces before they came together. bosh didnt have shit.
That sounds like the Celtics before their 2008 title run... Oh wait.. u meant the heat? Because I remember Boston doing it first....
I think you can make an argument Wade was as good as Lebron from 2008-2010 but Wade was never flat out better than Lebron.
reporter : "get the fuckin and foul on lebron james " Lmao
lol oh my god. that last dunk.
OH YES HE WAS!!!!
Twas a strange time for the NBA.
LeBron using all that powder...
they blew out the spurs and the lakers and handed the pacers their worst loss of the season. When Wade is on the court, Lebron statistically is
And just two seasons later he would be doing this for the Heat
Man Bosh was putting up nice numbers in TO... 24 and 12... he had a much worse team than wade and bron
Delonte has never averaged 13 points in a season EVER. And Mo Williams averaged 17 his first year with the Cavs and 15 his second. But Williams and West is not even close to a good back court they were both inconsistent as hell.

If Wade sat out a year I bet Miami would get 73 wins.
No, they never averaged a combine 30+ 2009 was Mo's best season and him and Delonte combined for 29ppg
Just imagine what it would be like if these two ever play together...OH WAIT...
LeBron doesn't do this type of stuff anymore. He'd struggle to get into the paint driving in the half-court now.
i miss seeing them go head to head
Now that LeBron James is back in Cleveland, I hope we get THIS Dwyane Wade back!
Didnt get him with a Prime LBJ to take the load off his hands. Wont get him without LBJ
you are obviously not famaliar with eric reid and tony ferintino
they called hibbert one of the top 5 most unstopable forces in the leauge last year
Lebron at the end...2 three pointers and a huge dunk.
He's not clutch at all.
i have an idea. lets all get together when everyone else gets old and we can win championships together instead of competing for them, it will be soooo easy
I would really like to know what lebron talks after the dunk at 13:12
I miss Flash...
@kyrell rellytv
actually it does not sound like Boston at all.
Miami had 3 of the top 12 players in the league all younger than 30. Lebron & Bosh (26) and Wade (29).

i didn't know LeBron played for Cleveland..... :p
Wade had about 8 dunks this game...Land rover play of the game? Lebrons second dunk
actually he is.. and he was pretty hurt most of the time.
Lebron always won against wade
This is when Lebron James gave up on Cleveland Cavs and they formed a Superteam in Miami to win 2 championships! Now as you look back at Lebron James's 4 championships you realize how he was able to win them, by recruiting or joining other All Star players in the NBA! If you can't beat the best, then you should join the best!" Quote by Lebron James himself!
First of all the heat was trash when he joined them and he doesn’t owe the cavs shit they were trash before and after him.
say what u want, man thats the truth...he had 2 go 2 miami for that ring!
13:29 "Thats what great players do Eric take over the game at clutch time!" The Fuck you haters mean ?????
how is mo williams and delonte west one of the better backcourts in the NBA??
i would take wade in his prime over james in his prime... no doubt about it
did you watch the atlanta game? No wade no Bron. Bosh was the man.
4:08 the rim is in pain
nope i would take wade over bosh any day of the week. in the clutch wade can create his own shot. bosh cant. the end
because of lebron ofc
Lebron felt comfortable there mmmmmmmm
Just go to basketball reference. You have to actually sift through these games and numbers on your own and here are things to consider:
-Lebron and Wade do much of the same things.
-Lebron does it better.
- 97% of the time you never see the big 3 have great games together(someone ALWAYS has a bad night shooting)
-32-17(with) versus 12-1(without). and further more miami's record when Wade shoots 16 or fewer baskets is 15-4 versus 17-12! But with Lebron and Bosh its the OPPOSITE.
With stuff like this I don't understand why his nickname is Lechoke...
Game 6 vs Boston... Enough said
yet he won the ring in MIAMI?!?!
I was thinking the same.
If Lebron only went to La and Melo to Miami...that would've been like grandma's kool-aid SWEEEEEEEEET
i say heat wouldve won 3 lakers win 2
eatingrealgood I say Melo doesn't win Championships lol and I love that guy, but he just doesn't have "it".
How bout now?
