Thank you all for sharing your garden with us. In New Mexico we don’t have much fall color. Pinyon and Juniper are struggling at best with the drought. I am making compost today. I have a small 25 acre piece of land I am rehabilitating. Ponds, vineyards, gardens and now onto a few ornamentals. I like watching the contemplation videos and the Fall in 30 Min video. I need the inspiration. Thx again. Jeff Zimmerman
Oh what a beautiful landscape spectacular leaf colors, nice seeing the creatures that roam around, the shots of the light, the way was narrated, thanks for sharing, blessings!!!
Wonderful season for sure. Your farm has come a long way since those early planning days that seem so long ago. Love your narration. Soothing, pensive and poetic.
gosh the property looks oh so loved. y'all are curating such an incredibly magical space. thank you for your amazing conservation efforts, and thank you for allowing us to listen to you wax poetic about it. so dreamy
The videography on this was just gorgeous. We live in Zone 5b in Colorado and my calendula do reseed, in fact I kind of "lost" a whole bed to volunteer calendula this year because I hate pulling out volunteers, especially calendula which I also use for oils and salves. They were the only flowers still blooming after a couple of frosts and light snows. But I did collect a lot of seed, especially from my high resin variety that didn't reseed so reliably this past year. Right now there is one volunteer calendula blooming in my Greenstalk which we moved to a cool garage for the winter in an effort to keep the strawberries alive until next spring. Plants just want to do their thing as long as they can and he is an unexpected little pop of sunshine in these days of receding light.
I congratulate you for tackling this new landscape. You've planned it out so well and it shows, even this early in its production. The fall colour is just magical and I cant wait for the first spring bulb to push its way towards the sun. Really enjoying learning about each plant and why you have chosen it and for what purpose. You have a huge veriety of wildlife because of this and having a lake and meadow helps. Im hope you take some lovely winter photos or stills for us to enjoy. This permaculture garden was my dream when I was 20. Im 57 now and still look at my plans and designs in an old journal. ❤Jo from New Zealand😊
Really enjoyed this video style. Dont you find asters to be a bit too vigorous in your house garden beds? i planted a small piece in a flower garden several years ago and it has made a permanent stronghold no matter how much i try to weed it out ! And Bears! wow how wonderful
