    You do a nice job on your tutorial. I agree with the 1 gal with said it is much faster to just leave a long tail and pick the stitches up off of the machine with the little red needle at the end. The more you do it the faster it will be. It's very clumsy at first though. I am left-handed and right-handed so I use my left hand for that and maybe that's why it's easy for me. I also have a very large head like your boyfriend and I bought the large Sentro knitting machine and it has a few more needles but it also has a bigger gauge. It makes a ery soft hat big enough for me! I'm Swedish/Norwegian and we have big Noggins! I do recommend the Addi, and I do recommend that Sentro because I've really had great stuff come off of both. The Sentro is very smooth running and quiet.....I love it!

    I think this is the best video for making a hat. I got a sentro machine because it's cheaper and has 4 more needles and I have a large head. Lol. No more slowly self-removing hats! Thank you for sharing how to make a hat. Oh and I think the front photo of different colored hats is beautiful.

    I loved this. I’m old school. I need to see things clearly yo learn them. Struggling with you tube. This was very easy to understand. My 1 and only hat attempt I messed up bad casting off. Still can’t figure out what I did wrong. This seems easier with waste yarn. I have a feeling I’ll get plenty of waste yarn messing up. I’d like a tutorial on attaching a Pom. I was told snap on tops were best. Mine have elastic I bought prior I was considering a button so it’s removable for washing.

    Thank you so much for doing such a great tutorial. I watched another video for this machine on making hats and while I liked that cast off better (I thought) this one makes more sense. I really appreciate this video because you took care to pause and get a close up of where you were threading the needles. Some tutorials don't zoom in and that makes it hard to learn. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Thank you for the tutorial! P.S. You don't need to use scrap yarn at the end. You can just leave a good length of yarn, make a round without knitting then pick up all the stitches off of the machine with a needle. Same result less time

    • @TaylorLynnCrochet
      @TaylorLynnCrochet  5 лет назад +8

      I find it is much slower for me personally to lift the stitches from the machine. I can pick them up with my yarn needle super quick with the scarp yarn

    I just bought mine a few weeks ago. I'm still trying to make an adult hat. They all come out small the largest I've manage to do is child size. I've tried not holding the yarn from holding it and still nothing. I've even let it come freely out from the yarn and that was a disaster! lol It did make me mad then laugh. I haven't tried Carron yarn yet. The losest yarn I've tried has been the ILTY from Hobby Lobby. Red Heart comes out tight no matter what I do. Red Heart Boutique came out good but I didn't have enough to try to make a hat so I made a headband. If you have any suggestions I'll give it a whirl. lol Thanks
