If cow foot is an acquired taste, then I must have been an old Jamaican grandmother, having made and eaten cow foot all my life. The first time I ate cow foot, I LOVED it!!!! (I was born and raised on the lower east side of Manhattan, New York.)

I loved being in the kitchen with him cooking together being mixed race child of Puerto Rican & African & Native American Parents. Many different types of food we ate as children. Your own style of cooking was much like our own dishes. Dishes that I haven’t eaten in many years now. My Dad loved heat to his dishes and so do I. On the staples that you use on your shows can you please list them by name. I’m disabled and I have trouble with my hands but I still do some cooking. Cool Running Magi Flavor Rice I have that but it’s the others I seem to have trouble with. It’s a beautiful display of Love and affection and It makes me smile thinking about the wonderful times that I had with my parents in the kitchen Both of my sons can cook I pray that they will remember me that way. With 18 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren and counting that would be my Blessings they still see me in the kitchen putting Love into all of the meals I’ve cooked for them and not my condition.
