I finally get it why Teacher hasn't been shooting on the Sanka B plane at 2:18 because he wanted to lure the other pilot to come near his 6 o'clock. Just after 2:29, the pilot was on his 6 and Teacher's prime intention was to pull off a Cobra maneuver. It's really clever though (Yes, I know that prop planes can't do Cobras)
Well, some prop planes were actually capable of some pretty extreme maneuvers that modern jet fighters simply aren't capable of. I wouldn't be surprised of something like that was actually pulled off irl.
@@williamfrench8184 I know it is possible in some extent to do maneuvers during a stall in a pull configuration prop plane, as the propwash would flow over the tail surfaces allowing some degree of "thrust vectoring". At least, I've seen RC models do it and light aircraft such as bush planes. Apparently thats also a plot point in the novel. iirc the Teacher was originally from Rostock, but he defected to Lautern when Rostock started to employ pusher props which didn't have that capability

I call bullshit, you cannot pull pugachev's cobra in those planes its not possible, the airframe design is not right. only Sukhoi and Mikoyan could do it without thrust vectoring.
Yeah, I don't see how the Shinden and Mustang (I know they're called Sankas and Skylies, but bear with me) shown could perform Cobra stalls and possibly Kulbit loops. Not only don't they have the right airframe, but they aren't jet powered as well. That's a thing the movie got wrong. Plus, only Sukhoi's Flanker Jets, and the F-22 Raptor could do Cobra stalls, and not only that, the Su-37 Terminator is the only jet ever (Apart from the Raptor) to properly perform a Kulbit loop. It's just plain impossible (No pun intended) for propeller-driven aircraft to do such.

ティーチャーはキルドレから父親と呼ばれたり勝てない存在だとか言われてるベテランパイロット。
特攻野郎KITAチーム ティーチャに仲間は居ませんよ ちなみにティーチャはもともと主人公側の会社の人間でした 転職して相手側の会社に行っただけです（何故転職したかはわからないけど）
