Fell out of love with football almost overnight and the final nail in the coffin was when I witnessed a few 50 something Chelsea fans bullying a Tottenham fan that couldn’t have been older than 17. I witnessed them picking up horse shit outside the station and putting it in the young lads jogging bottoms. I couldn’t stand beside them in a stadium after that and haven’t been back
All clubs have those kinds of fans bro, it's always the minority though. Each to their own but if you really love football then nothing should make you fall out of love with it bar blue cards, your club getting liquidised or the useless owner getting them relegated.

For example, I grew-up in Los Angeles, and Manchester is a less hostile territory...not that it is perfect itself. Well, I get your meaning, but most Big cities have the same general 'ambiance', as it were.
For example, I grew-up in Los Angeles, and Manchester is a less hostile territory...not that it is perfect itself.
I like Charlies visits because I'm an armchair-tourist that appreciates his architectural photons and trips to the countryside. One set of grandparents came to the US from that area, while the other pair from Ireland/Welsh combination.
