Material Handling Machines in Wood Operation

Liebherr material handler in wood operation. LH 35, 50 and 60 machines in the log handling activity with various wood tongs for serving the log yard or chipper and saw desk. The logs are transported either in the wood tong or with a trailer hinged to the LH machine feedding loading and unloading station. For stationary work the blades will be placed down for more stable handling.
Driving performance is essential for economic and efficient timber handling applications. With this in mind, Liebherr has designed a new twin-engine drive train especially for LH 60 machine. Due to this technical innovation, continuous acceleration without changing gears is guaranteed. A variable drive allows constant travel without having to switch operations. The new Liebherr drive concept saves fuel and guarantees a smooth and productive operation on a variety of terrain.
