2 years ago, I had 7700k hit 5ghz all core on 1.385 volts. This year I had two other 7700K chips, both water-cooled and they couldn´t do 4.7 Ghz under 1.4 v. I think after 8+ years to hit 5ghz all core is a lot harder now on reasonable voltages.
have 5ghz and 1.350v with this guide but my cpu is not deleted and air cooled but my case have 2x240mm and 2x180mm fans. idle around 30С and games in the most scenarios 54C - 64C but sometimes up to 70C - 74C. is it ok or should I better do 4.9Ghz?
I never overclocked my 7700k, im gonna try today, im having issues with some games, cpu bottlenecking, so i will just push to 4.5 maybe, any suggestions?
Hi, I have a aio cooled 7700K with four sticks of corsair vengeance lpx 3000mhz. I tried to use XMP but it causes major stutters. I have cpu on stocks settings which means on my case that it's all cores synced to 4,5mhz. What would be the medicine to get stable RAM overclock or is just that much harder for four sticks?
I get GTA V crash and more fps with 2800, 2900 causes anything to act weird, 2933 and XMP not posting. But 2667 CL12 has no fps gain. That´s against the latency math. 7700k Venegance 3200. And with 2700 I can´t tighten the timings and the bios is bugged, needs to be reflashed, when it keeps false oc failed screen too often..
What would you say is the safe range for temperatures in the long run? I overclocked mine to 4.7 ghz @ 1.2 core voltage and when I stress test it with cinebench r23 im getting temperatures of 78-81 degrees. Is this safe long term or is this going to quickly degrade my cpu? Im thinking of lowering it to 4.6 ghz @ 1.152 core voltage as that will give me temps between 70-75 degrees celcius. Appreciate the help 😊

Great video thanks got my 7700k super stable at 4.9 on air cooling.
Nice video , straight to the point without too much bamboozle , i'll give this a try when i get home :)
thanks for teaching me i did this and it increased my performance to playable
so it is awsome
Sorry lol dumb question I'm not really a tech person, 4:48 you say "as long as your cpu is "deleted""? What is the word I'm missing
delidded

completely different options on a Z170 MSI board
Bro really, finally a video that is just straight to point and that explains what he is doing.
+1 sub
Thanks G!

how did it go?
@jisjis87 Well, when i got back home, it turned out it is a non-k 7700, so i just shut up myself and kept playing as it is.
Yeah I was going to say I think with most boards the 7700k runs at 4.5ghz already.
Plz somebody help my cpu ratio isn’t going higher than 45 I’ve tried everything and can’t find a video on it
Maybe bad mainboard? Too weak for overclock

That's safe g
if your only gaming your probably never gonna reach cinebench temps
very informative video
It works but for some reason when I restart my computer it goes back to before overclock settings
Try to change bios battery on motherboard
i can push to 5.0 ghz at 1.290 ghz stable
How much improvement did you really feel?
@stallich1978 in MMO games that are cpu heavy u see difference let's say less stutter but any single games that rely on graphic not much
I was expecting a prime95 and 5.0ghz coverage lol
I cover benchmarks in the build videos, not in the tutorials: this way I keep them shorter!
Bsod :(
sorry to hear :(
