2:05 I agree. Carbo-loading seems to imply that by superficially increasing the amount of carbohydrates the day before that, your body will have more energy reserves to run a better race. The best races I ran often coincided with just eating a well-balanced meal the day prior. Salmon with salad, a chicken breast sandwich, or a quesadilla with lean beef and guacamole on the side were some of my favorite meals to have before a race.

Good race, especially early and coming back. Good edits - elevator, tanker truck. Ngl, I know it can be complicated with mapping neuro-physiological connections and scaffolding practice, but "Intro to Motor Learning" sounds kinda line "Knee lift, foot plant, and heel kick for runners" 🤣🤣

@@isaac-sr1uf for your first year, any distance spikes are good! Dragonfly 2s would probably be the absolute “best” tho pretty expensive

What are some tips for people trying to get in to running a lot more
Start with walk/jogging and build up to running
I can’t even run a mile under 10 minutes

I’m a high school track and XC runner. I’m a sophomore. My dream is to run in college. I usually run around 2-4 miles every morning before school on the weekdays. And do distance on Saturdays. Then in the afternoons I do a track workout or whatever with my team. I have no clue how many calories I eat or anything like that. Do you have any tips to get me closer to my goal. If there is any other way I can contact you for extra tips that would be awesome
The only tip I can give is keep running, be consistent with training, and you’ll improve

@@trentonsandler I mean not exactly that model but something like that one. I have a Nikon D3400 I was thinking about trying to make some videos before and after a big surgery to tell people about the pre- and re-hab process but Im not sure that's the right camera. Def need a good mic too tho
I see your in dragonfly 2s. how would you compare those with the vics?
I haven’t worn the Vic 2s, but compared to the Vic 1s they are a completely different shoe, a lot more stable
@ are you planning to use vics for shorter events or dragonfly’s for everything?
@ probably dragonfly’s for 1500m+, and maxflys for 800m down

Plan for the meet usually, and anything else that needs to be summed up from the week
