all the AC costumes never have the proper tapered hoods... they make it look all spread out and messy
Yes. Rarely if ever these hood look like proper AC hoods. If anything they look like towels over their heads...
Noah Huelsman I agree, the Connor hood should be tighter to his head, slightly caved on the sides.

This is ammnra's prop, and if you purchase it from his etsy page, I believe he will build/paint the whole thing for you. For an extra cost of course. Shapeways only sells the 3d print. So you will have to purchase everything else from other stores/websites.

Ps: for the best looking hood, use a coat hanger , unfold it and place it around your hood inside the border sewing, u can now adjust the PERFECT looking way and Voilà !

This hidden blade is my favorite too! It is known as the pivot blade. I have incorporated this type of hidden blade into my custom hidden blade with Ezio's bracers from Brotherhood and the Hidden Gun.
Nice review and an amazing prop! Do you plan on reviewing more of ammra's hidden blade kits? i.e. hook blade, prowler hidden blade, or aveline blade

who cares? the "official" replica's are pure rubbish, at least this follows a more accurate design AND looks better.
Shame they are so expensive for a blade that's not been put together yet tough, but I guess that's the price of quality.
Ac3 Connor kenway is probably the most practical assassin there is the way his gear and outfit is designed alongside Edward kenway from ac4

That's why, during fight scenes, you have the performer wear a rubber duplicate. It won't break.
Have you considered trying to make an OTF hidden blade? ImDeePain made a tutorial for a Connor kenway model, which I used to make mine. I just made a normal blade tho, not a swivel. But it's still amazing. 100% automatic. And won't come out during filming because of the two locks it has

I personally love this design for the hidden blade the only thing I would change is for some parts like the bird I would make it......a faded crimson color to differ a bit from the original version. However I realized that a crimson color would be more obvious than let's say a bronze color version because of this I might just buy three of these (because I have one hundred and fifty dollars.) and see witch one I prefer one will have the crimson color, one the bronze, and the last one will have a mixture of both colors. If you can't tell I love Conor Kenway and his hidden blade! Conor is my favorite assassin second to none and his grandfather is my second because.......reasons. I hope I can eventually get these kits and see witch color would be best but I want Conor's and your guys opinion as well! Btw where did you get your brace? It looks like it jump out of the game!

Is their a way how the pieces to the hidden blades that Conner used in Assassins creed 3 come in a box 📦 and do you think it’s better to use the plastic ones than the metal ones ? plus I love Assassins Creed 3 I’ve beaten the whole game and I want conners hidden blades and I’m in Hawaii so what do you recommend because I want conners hidden blades the dual ones that way I got two to wear on each arm just like the game as well

This was a great video and it has made me want to buy the kit but before I do I would like to know if the rubber bands needed r very specific or can I use any type of bands becuz I have loom bands from bracelets and also does the sharpie marker rub off

Nah you should use ImDeePain's hidden blade. It a little more expensive but the mechanism works alot better.
1 you don't have to have your hand down to release the blade
2 it also uses and ring to release it
3 you don't have to point your hand up to conceal it just pull once more and the blade will go back
just look him up on youtube he has one on shapeways for 140 and he's working on a fully functionally phantom blade. I have respect for ammra, but Imdeepain took it further. His blades are truly the best out there

I'm sorry but I absolutely despise the length of Ratonhaké:ton's hidden blades. Hidden blades are knives meant for sneak kills, the length of AC3's makes it absolutely impossible to not be seen. I don't want a long dagger or short sword, I want a blade that is small and easily hidden, one that barely passes extended fingertips.
Well I see your point man, but since his turns into a knife, they have to be a but long, on his right hand I see what you mean though, Connors hidden blade is probably my favorite out of all of them

$110 dollars and the guy didn't include the hardware necessary to to complete the thing. plus the thing is 3d printed so the materials couldn't have cost that much. seems shallow to me.

I like the costume, but I honestly, whenever I look up "assassin's creed cosplay", all of the outfits look like they are a couple sizes to big or something, the hoods are too flimsy and big, and the sleeves look like a kid trying to put his dad's shirt on XD, but I've been seeing it a lot lately and just wanted to say that, hopefully I'm not the only one who sees that...

When it comes to games, it’s hard to tell the scale of objects so they could be bigger or smaller than they appear. Plus it’s meant to be a dagger as well, so it kinda makes sense
