I can’t really find churches singing hymns together anymore everything is CCM and I’ve been having convictions about singing and playing some of that stuff. If there's never any pure JOY! in one's Salvation, there's something gone terribly wrong in that person's understanding of what they've been given - of just what our privilege in Jesus Christ IS. If one chooses to make of Salvation only a resentment-filled BURDEN, then the agonizing death of Jesus of Nazareth on the cross at Calvary was completely in vain in their case - only a pointless and embarrassing exhibit of sado-masochism. What a waste that makes of a PRICELESS Gift from God; and how strange of one to choose to make it so. smh To add insult to injury, rejecting the Comforter (with all of Its amazing "Pre-paid Benefits of Membership in the family of God"), who Jesus (just as he promised his disciples on the Mount of Ascension) prayed The Father to send down here to US when he returned to his Father in Glory, makes no sense whatsoever. smh Why would one choose to continue to sit in darkness, full of judgement and resentment, cold and alone, feeling weak and helpless, ignorant and without beneficial friendship, and without any invigorating JOY! in one's daily Christian existence? It is hard to understand, when The Holy Ghost is standing ready to Educate and Guide us out of our misery, right here on Earth; AND, to run along-side of us and bear us up when we stumble, pick us up when we fall, comfort us in our grieving and losses, bring all things to our remembrance when we need clarity and a strong mind and recognition of our neighbor (whom we are to love as we love our own self), giving us strength for our journey and tasks, and JOY when we think of all that God's pure GRACE has provided for us, as we make our journey through our Christian life.
