If you're with a friend all you have to do is agro the wraith and sit down. He'll swing over your head while your friend hits him. Or, if you're solo, crouch and hit him once when he swings look straight down, he will miss.
Idk when this video was posted but while stairs work and are great, there are other ways that might be better.

All you have to do.if move right when he puts his hands up then move right and jump when he attacks with his axe sword knife thing
