At 18:18 - Did you misunderstood him? He saw a population of these plants that grow all-year underwater - so it is normal condition for them to grow submers also.
+DW7887 I know, and I think I understood correctly. However, it doesn't change the fact that if a plant is looking like this, I mean, if it is so small, comparing to emersed form, it means that underwater it is suffocating, and struggling for survival. As most aquarium plants do, by the way.
+DefiniteAquascapeTV Don´t know if it is really a struggle - if evolution enable the plant to live also underwater it is also useful - not so many other plants to fight about light etc - if the emersed form has to life in the shadow of trees or so it needs bigger leaves and higher growth to survive - not sure what´s the bigger trouble ;-) So I think it depends on the particular species - no generalization. Ah, most important: Thank you for that great video. Auch vielen Dank an alle Beteiligten!
Beastmode wow awesome when was this tour? I notice he said some of those plants will be ready in August September time frame but it's of course December now.....plus I'm pretty sure they grow some killer marijuana there in the back some where hahahah....i also notice the plantahunter always touched he tables or the plants on the tables when you guys was going threw those doors....wow did you get any presents to take home?
+Rico Suave Touching the plants is what I also do, when I go walking in my neighbourhood, here in Poland :) Seems to be some form of a primeval instinct :) As for presents, we got some t-shirts, catalogues, and other advertising stuff :)
How was she a guide? She clearly never walked through these greenhouses before and has no idea what's going on in there. If she was there for her translating skills they need to rethink these tours. Awesome operation though. I buy almost exclusively Dennerle plants at my local fish store and I'm happy with their products.
+naz84er Hehe, no, miejsce pracy fajne, to fakt. Tropikalna atmosfera i prawie kawałek dżungli w centrum Europy :) Patryk coś tam od nich kupił, jakieś roślinki, a tak poza tym to żadnych innych roślin nie braliśmy.
