Lofting is an essential skill for wood lanes. Depending on how dry they are, plastic grabs and gets offline before it hits the arrows, so your typical line won't cut it. Lofting plastic can help with this

Effective lofting requires quite a bit of practice. I use it to clear the fronts when they are burned up and the ball is hooking at my feet. I can loft it out 9-10 feet pretty good. Not my "A" game anymore, it's more for younger folks.

As someone on the wider side I naturally just have about 6 feet of loft, never really thought of it as an adjustment as i’m just trying to hit my mark🤣 but I’ll definitely take this into consideration as that’s a problem i have which is projecting the ball right since I don’t swing it all that much, great information video and keep up the good work guys!

Your video title was "How to Loft" but I didn't see any tips on how to loft a bowling ball.

We’re gonna be the 3rd league bowling that day for my sweeps in Vegas so I might need to practice that loft 😅

Great video! I thought loft was only useful for really burnt lanes, but I understand now how you can turn any ball higher or lower RG by adjusting the loft distance. Something I never really considered affecting my ball motion until now.

I use loft, especially with urethane :D 2 handed urethane into the oil and not just hitting the same dry spot over and over again. 😊

Loft is the second adjustment I make after a slight board adjustment with my feet

Jimoo should have gone into further detail about the height of the loft. If you don't stick the landing and get the ball too high in the air, it'll make an even sharper turn when it meets friction.

I've been sceptical about lofting the ball because I have fear that I'll be damaging the ball.
