Amen pastor!! Following your heart is not a good thing...in fact it's terrible. I followed my heart right into a literal hell for a decade....my gut n my head said RUN! But that follow your heart mess led me astray...to a point I didn't know myself anymore....FOLLOWING GOD is the only way! I appreciate all these bible studies!!

I think God gives that word to give his people another chance. As you said, their hearts were deceived. Yes, not even Samuel's intercession would change God's mind but the people's obedience and turning away from their own hearts could change Gods judgment. Maybe what God was asking for is obedience and repentance to spare them. Would love to hear thoughts on this matter, i would like to be corrected if my thinking is off. God bless

Believer, remember Psalm 103:12- “I have swept away your offences like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me for I have redeemed you.” Lord, have mercy on the unrepentant sinners until they come to you. They don’t know what they are missing.
Ladies I hope you know that you are beautiful and valuable. Your worth so much more than you know or maybe you do know. I pray that you tap into that inner you. The good and the ugly in you. I pray for healing in you with whatever it is. For those who are mothers that were loving on our kids, and for many giving our kids what we didn’t have. Love and affection. Time. Protecting our kids from predators out here.
GOD KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING 13:03 - 14:45 Praise the Lord! May we see our sin before that happens, but may we be truly healed in any way God decides upon.
