We're now closing in on half a century since this song was released (also, being 2020, 4 decades since John Lennon was assassinated) and it's interesting to see that we all are still hoping for, dreaming of, and *imagining* world peace. Recorded by J Goodwin almost a year ago, and planned for today's upload over 3 months ago, the timing of this video is quite coincidental given the struggles we are facing as a world right at this moment. I was at market in Perth Fremantle when I first heard this being played on the Piano. It was a rainy winters day and an older middle aged gentleman was playing this on the piano. At the time I had no idea what tune he was playing, except that it drew me in. And as I watched him play, I saw his hair and features change before my eyes as I imagined how he would have looked in previous years. I watched him age and become young again, and before I knew it tears were in my eyes. Today as I discovered this channel I fell in love with the many covers here and something told me to just give this tune a listen, and now finally two years later I know what the tune is. Music. It can be lifechanging.

Love the videos. I have been playing piano for 9 years but the first 8 was basically my mom making me take lessons. It wasn't until I watched your videos that I fell in love with the instrument and was motivated to practice more then mandatory. I went from fur elise to rachmaninoff and am loving it. The first time I heard this amazing album was the day my goldfish died so it makes me sad but this is one of my favorites. However this album makes me want to keep on fighting the obstacles that are coming up so sometimes I put this on the car so that I can refresh my memory of important people of my life that went to heaven.

This song isn’t my favorite…but if I hear it I’ll remember when I was in Dallas some years ago. It was camp named C.I.S.V an all the members sang that song as a Lullaby. Also it remembers me when my father and me were on the sofa and sang. He always smiled and looked up idk why. Now I don’t see him very often. I miss the old times.
