Cleaning up a porch light

So I got this urge to clean up and paint this porch light. I don't normally pay attention to things like this but I guess doing small things like this around your house from time to time can help keep the appearance and maintenance up. I notice the more I do stuff like this I pay attention to other houses and when I notice it's something they should check on, I go take a look at how mine looks. I guess that's the DIY in me.
