jaun sahab pain deliver nhi krte the, jaun sahab to khoon thukte the, zahar ugalte. unhi ki ek line h ki ... ye main jo zahar ugalta hu na , ek nagin ko moo lagaya tha. ye sab usi nagin ka natija h jisne ek shakhs ko is tarah apna sar patakne pr laa kr chhod diya.
Hazrate John Elia ❤️ legend , full of pain and depression btw he born in amroha india , and whenever he came to that place he always kiss the land of amroha and started crying , after partition he shifted to Karachi Pakistan great sayar of Urdu , no one can match his pain❤️ and literally his knowledge about urdu and other languages

Your fesponse to his poetry is too innocent.... to understand Jaun Elia you need to have deeper knowledge of thelanguage as well as poetic philosophy....on the face of it it looks that he is in pain, ...thats true..his pain is poetically philosophical...poetry has multiple meanings....Greatness that Jaun elia has is his expressions and openness that embodies his poetry....He truely reflects his outspoken and incredible sense of philosophical attitude to the issues concerned....we should enjoy his poetry in deeper sense of the term...

Let me tell you one thing:Nobody was making fun of him,people were actually enjoying his masterpieces.Laughters were there only when he himself used to make fun of something associated with his persona.His ghazals are a treat for anyone who loves poetry in general and Urdu poetry in particular.

They were not making fun of his emotions. Jaun Elia is something that shows his emotion like this, you do not even know that the guy who was sitting right next to him "Saleem Zafri" he is the guy who took him out from his depression and forced to attend mushairas.........Audience was laughing because the way he express the words was completely unique, they guys have lot more respect for Jaun Elia in comparison to us, you need to study a lot to understand that what was his mental state at that time. As he mentioned that Dubai audience was the best audience he had ever seen so no one could have made fun of Jaun Elia. His each word and lines had a narration of his life, there is lot to learn about him......
This was not his last mushaira, his 1999's is on RUclips. I personally attended his mushaira after that too....
His last mushaira was 2001 in Karachi
