Jac looks good I will definitely check it out here in Adelaide. For people saying is Chinese crap, well let me tell you every car manufacturer has its issues including Ford and Toyota. And this Chinese cars have become very reliable and a lot more price competitive than other brands

It's kinda amazing that people lack any reflectiveness when saying, "it comes from China, therefore it's crap" - people said exactly the same about Japanese cars, then Korean cars. Now look what we all drive.

What China tried to do to Australia via trade sanctions was inexcusable economic black mailing & bullying. No one can escape Chinese products , but with cars you can. If Toyota etc are too costly , Korean Musso is a reasonable quality reliable option. Check out Cadogen's report on after purchase warrantee issues with "parts & problem solving issues".

Thanks for the video. Very informative.
Would you be able to tell me how the back seats are? I've noticed in the LDV that there back seats are very up right and straight while GWM and the musso are a bit more relaxed. With having kids myself I want to make sure they are comfortable too.
I have already booked a demo drive with my local JAC dealership when they become available.
Thanks again and look forward to more information and your review when you get yours hands on one personally.
    Cheers

Cheers Jayden. I actually did shoot some content in the back seat. I will try get that live for you. I'm 6ft 4, so a bit of an extreme test unit, but too far from the modern teenage boy.
I fit comfortably behind the passenger seat when it was set to normal sized human depth. Back did feel a little straight, but I wasn't focused on it.
When I put driver's seat back to my distance, and then tried to sit behind it, it was uncomfortable. My head began to touch the roof as I had to sit straighter, and my knees had to go either side of the driver chair. Ok for small trips, not treks and not offroad.
But that's a my height person sitting behind a my height person.

Just test drove it in Perth Wanneroo today after the GWM cannon. It looks nice and has a decent interior.
    However.....
It does not drive well compared to a GWM.
The JAC turn circle is terrible, the engine feels very lacking and steering feels way too light considering how small its turn circle is.
The driver seat is also incredible uncomfortable and I wouldn't be able to drive it longer than 20 mins - I am only 30 years old and I felt liked I aged after driving 10 mins in it.
The entertainment system is a bit better than the GWM, but the GWM has a better camera system for parking and proximity.
There are also a crazy amount of warnings and alarms in the JAC whilst driving that are just not needed and way too distracting.
The GWM has the annoying lane assist, but in the new L model, it can be turned off permanently.
Honestly, if your looking for a cheap dual cab ute, get the cannon and save yourself 10k....
