I’m so glad to have visited your channel, I’m a novice in jewelry making and have watch so many tutorial but can’t make a perfect loop. Your instruction is so clear and you even show us some common mistake that we do in making a loop. Thank you so much for this tutorial. God bless.
What a GREAT instructor! It is one thing to be excellent with a subject. It is, however, quite a different thing to be not only excellent but able to convey knowledge to another. This is an example of Excellence in both! :)
Thanks to your wonderful videos I just made my first allergy free set. Necklace, Ear rings and 4 bracelets. I even made my own loops and connected them myself. And I had so much fun making them. When you have an allergy to the alloy in metals its hard to find jewelry you can wear. Now I can make my own. Love your videos. Keep em up so I can get new ideas and learn new stuff.
I've been making jewelry for 15 years. My loops have never been good. This was a fantastic tutorial of what to do as well as common mistakes. Thanks so much, Lisa!
This was the best demonstration for learning looping that I have watched. With other videos the hands get in the way and you can't clearly see what's going on. Great job!
I now know how to make the perfect loop. Boy was I way off in la-la land with mine. I inherited all of my daughter's jewelry making supplies and didn't want to get rid of them. I'll add some pretty things to my junk journals that I make and sell. Wahoo! Thanks so much!!
Aw, thanks Mary! You are so kind to take the time to toss me this compliment! I really appreciate it! And hey, please consider subscribing to our channel to learn more :) goo.gl/3ErJzq
I enjoyed the videos Perfecting the Wire Sprial, the Open and Closed Loop and the Basic Loops. I happen to have the Wubbers bail making pliers and the looping plier and it makes all 3 videos jobs much easier. For those that don't have them these were great videos. Easy to follow and very informative. Thank you.
OMGosh! That was the best video for making loops. You don't know how long I have tried to make my own jewelry and gave up. I decided to give it one more try and while watching your video ( 4 times ) I made some loops along with you. After the 4th try I said. " YES! I did it" FINALLY. LOL Thank you for making this video "slow" and with much information. I Subscribed, Liked and Added this to my projects. God Bless You! :D
Great tutorial! I am a beginner at making jewelry, and have had a hard time with loops. This video really helped me. I have been practicing while looking at your video and have finally been able to make a few good loops consecutively. :-) You are great teacher. Really helped that you went through the scenarios of what could go wrong, and how to fix it. Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback, I am glad this class helped you. Yeah, starting with good fundamentals, like perfect strong loops, is SUPER important. And now, you are on your way!!! We release new videos all the time so if you haven't already, maybe consider subscribing to our youtube channel - Click here - goo.gl/3ErJzq
+Reese Ryan Yay! I am so glad you and your mom are enjoying this. Funny thing is I mainly made this video for MY mom cause she is always asking me to remind her how to do this. We have lots of wirework videos for you and your mom....so much fun ahead :). Please visit our website for more info on each class, www.beaducation.com/class_categories
Best videos! Explaining the cuts the troubleshooting I can't tell you how many times I've tried to learn this. Years and I just get so frustrated and give up. Thank you
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It did answer some of my questions, and now I see what I've been doing wrong. I'm not dreading making these loops now as I was before.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have so much trouble with these loops and your video has given me hope! (: I experience all the boo boo's you showed and now I know how to fix them. With the technique you taught I will do some more practicing to perfect my technique! Thanks again
Great video ! It looks like your pliers have padded handles.... what brand are they? I have nerve damage in my rt thumb base and think these would be really useful. Thanks. Judy
Great tutorial! I noticed that you may be using your Lindstrom pliers without the adjustable spring. Is this so? I have read both positive and negative comments about this adjustable spring. I have small hands and am trying to decide whether to buy Lindstrom RX pliers or Swanstrom Micro pliers. ( I own a pair of Tronex pliers and find them to be a bit too bulky) Although plier styles are a personal preference, can you offer some guidance based on your experience? Thank you.
Hi Karen! We love both the Lindstrom and Tronex pliers. If you feel that the Tronex are too heavy for you, you'll probably love the Lindstroms because they're light. The handle is plastic and foam which make it a very light weight plier. The adjustable spring is great too!
No there really isn't. The one thing you gotta avoid though is making large loops with thin wire...ya know something like a 6mm loop with 22 gauge. Other than that, it's just strength and design that you need to consider.
What will happen if you make the bracelet with the copper wire? It may have stated in the video but I don't remember. Is the copper wire a lot softer or is it that it will discolor after time? Hope you have time to answer. Loved the video. I learned a lot.
Hahaha what an idiot I am...open the loops like I would a jump Ring! this is the best thing you taught Me! also your tutorial makes it so easy. you are a great teacher. thank you!
Yeah, it sure it. But it is completely worth it. Here are a few things to describe it's worth - it is made in the USA (in Northern California actually), the handles, the steel, everything is from USA. It's very precision made, that is what gets such a pointy tip and flush cut. If you are just starting out and don't want to invest, I can comfortably recommend this Xuron cutter. It's quite a bit less but still a great cutter. I will never recommend junky cutters because honestly you will just be replacing them in months and then that is money wasted - yuck! www.beaducation.com/p/21-jewelry-making-tools-xuron-tapered-flush-cutter?product_category=220-jewelry-making-tools-pliers-cutters Hope this helps :)

This was the best demonstration for learning looping that I have watched. With other videos the hands get in the way and you can't clearly see what's going on. Great job!
Thanks Pamela! We work hard to make sure it's super clear. Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for a very clear lesson I have struggled with loops but now I think it's finally clicked. Thank you again.
I’m so pleased I found your videos, I was so frustrated with loops , thank you so much I will now practice what you’ve taught on here x

Really helpful, thank you, I got a bit rusty as I’m into wood now and haven’t made jewelry for 5-6 years. Excellent!
Thank you so much for this exceptionally well-presented video. I am new to working with wire and found these lessons invaluable.

Now that was a very nice, very helpful video. Thank you do much! My loops will be much better in the future.
Thank you so much! I make rosaries. I tried your way of making the loops perpendicular and my chains fall so much nicer and smoother.😊
Awesome! Better than any class instruction👍
Thank you so much; you’re a great teacher, regards🙂.

Is there a standard comparison between loop size and wire gauge?
I enjoy the videos: they are full of valuable information.
No there really isn't. The one thing you gotta avoid though is making large loops with thin wire...ya know something like a 6mm loop with 22 gauge. Other than that, it's just strength and design that you need to consider.

You can certainly use copper wire. Make sure to use dead soft wire. Copper does tarnish.
Hahaha what an idiot I am...open the loops like I would a jump Ring! this is the best thing you taught Me! also your tutorial makes it so easy. you are a great teacher. thank you!
Love these videos. That flush cutter you use is pricey. I just checked it out.
