Stephanie should've started her confession to Eric with, "Remember how Brooke had a baby with her daughter's husband and you forgave her immediately? Remember how you betrayed me and cheated on me after 30 years of marriage and I forgave you? Remember how your middle-aged crisis with Brooke cost us control of the company that we spent our entire adult lives building and I never held that against you? Remember how you brought that dangerous psychopath Sheila into our lives and she tried to k i l l me more than once and I never blamed you for that? Remember how right before we were about to remarry, you cheated on me with Lauren and I still gave you another chance? OK hold on to all that while I tell you this story..."
Haha, perfect! She also needs to remind Eric of how when they met in college, she was the one with the money and if she hadn't married him thinking she was carrying his child, there would be no Forrester Creations. He would be sitting in a house in the Valley with Beth Logan, thinking of all his dreams that didn't come true.
“No, she’s not my sister” yet still calls her father dad. How you differentiate the 2? “I raised you to be decent. To understand the difference between right and wrong. To understand the bounds of decency” well in that aspect he’s JUST like you. The man who jumps from being in love with Beth to then lusting after her daughter, who’s also his son’s ex and fresh from miscarrying his grandchild. The same man who ends up going after his son’s other exes and then moving on to Beth’s other daughter and his kids aunt. He had such a great role model.
So.. To recap: Eric has not ONCE ever gone to bridgit to console her after finding out about her mother and her husband, and now is calling bridgit disgusting. But.. He does go to Brooke to console HER about her daughter kissing Ridge. And funny how he says "these things don't just happen".. But was willing to buy Brooke's story about her sleeping with Deacon many times and carrying his baby as a "mistake". 😐 Also, why do Eric (and Brooke) keep saying bridgit was raised as Ridge's sister. Umm. Brooke's been telling that child Ridge was her father since in the womb. And Eric seems to forget that he wa quite happy to have Brooke marry Ridge (his daughters brother) which would now make him her step father 🤕
This entire storyline. 🙄 There is not _one_ person in this storyline that I can root for. I am just waiting for it to be over. Eric and Brooke are as bad as they have always been, but Ridge and Bridget are just nauseating. If I remember correctly, it's about to end. What a Christmas present that would be. 😂
It's a real mystery why they never circle back to Bridget's paternity storyline and the fact that Ridge raised her as his daughter for the first 6 or so years of her life. It's as if 🔔 is trying to soften how grotesque the Ridge/Bridget pairing really is.
I honestly think th writers think we forgot that brodgette was thought by all to be ridges daughter for let's say 10 years or so. Which makes this more sick
I find it really disgusting that Ridge views Bridget in a sexual way. For a long time he thought she was his biological daughter. He's supposed to be the adult here and bridget is just weird.srry
Eric: “Ridge, I look at you and I see that you’re not my son” (40 plus years as such nonwithstanding). Ridge: “Cool, off to kiss Bridget again.” Eric: “DON’T YOU DARE TOUCH YOUR SISTER WHO IS STILL YOUR SISTER IN SPITE OF YOU NOT BEING MY SON ANYMORE!!!”
Eric always acts so wounded when he is cheated on, but Stephanie forgave him for a lot of things. Bridget may be Brooke's child, but that didn't even stop her from having an affair with Deacon. Eric didn't live his life with decency, always cheating on Stephanie, and yet Eric is never ashamed for all the vile things Brooke has done.
They were playing some Halloween type music when Eric was losing his mind over Bridgette and Ridge 😂 Ridge giving Ridge face when Eric looks like he’s about to get violent .😕
Poor Bridget, nobody except @ FayelL(😉) understand her confusion. She needs desperately to be loved and protected and her parents are so insufficient. I can say Ridge, after losing the second- love-of-his-life- wife and the mother of his children, is the one who understand her. They reached each other in the wrong way of course. For a Taylor fan this sl in only a validatin of the fact Ridge had never been in love with Brooke. Thinhs will change, but still it has not happened after 16 yeas of the show. 1987-2003.
@Faye has given the _only_ reasonable explanation to Bridget's feelings for Ridge. It doesn’t make the writing any better, but at least it makes Bridget somewhat more human.
@annieo6527 we know that the writer intention was not how Bridget would look but often the script can't change the core of a character or the perception we have of them. JF Bridget is the only among Brad's character that I care about till he demeans her as a Brooke supporter

Ridge JUST leave the cabin and Bridget JUST stop it. Its a sick storyline making me throw up. For a long time i didnt care bout Eric, but at this time i feel sorry for him. This storylines just cross te borderline of any moral

I think all actors on the show have their own gesture or expression that they overuse. Eric has this one, Brooke has her one tear, Ridge has Ridge face...
Ironically he's one of the few that didn't have their character assassinated under the brad Bell regime. Maybe that's why John McCook still enjoys been on the show.
Eric saying "Has the whole world gone crazy??" We were dealing with insane stuff for two years already, then we went into ANOTHER country, looks like the WEEK this aired thereabouts. Eric's not wrong lol.
How do you not see anything wrong with your son hooking up with someone who you thought was your biological grandchild and even still calls you grandpa? That whole thing was disgusting and was straight up incest. Eric should have had this energy when Ric decided to target his “brother’s” daughters.
I can’t wait to see Nicks reaction when he finds out Brooke had a baby with her daughters husband . He’s now saying how wrong it is about Ridge and Bridgette.

Yes. She IS YOUR SISTER. for the past 20 years well at least 16. The first 4 she was your daughter. That doesn’t change in a month. This is just so gross.
Was anyone else . . .not entirely comfortable with the way Eric physically manhandled Bridget? I understand Eric’s feelings of disgust, but the way he spoke to Bridget without a shred of sympathy or love was not ok with me given that he never once tried to talk to her about Breacon.
Same… Dr. Peter Burns came to MP as a villain and I guess they wanted to keep Jack Wagner so they tried to make his character…good? I was never sure who were the good guys…That show was full of terrible immoral characters and I can’t believe I watched it as much as I did. I do like Nick’s character here on b&b and I guess they put him in to help turn Brooke’s character around and make her more appealing to Ridge. I did hate how they ended up trashing Nick’s character toward the end for the sake of saving Bridge and now there’s no trace of him or any of the Marones.
