My husband couldn't understand my reaction at first, until he walked that path. Everyone knows that sad, sweet, painful relief. Praise God and all his blessings.
I felt the same way this last month. My sister had been sick for the past 13 years with UTIs and sepsis. She was in a nursing home for 3 years with no quality of life. Three weeks ago she passed, and I was so thankful. My best friend lost her Dad the evening of my sister's graveside services, and felt the same way. My Dad passed from liver failure and went though a very similar experience. When he passed, it was the hardest day of my life; however, it was a big relief to not watch him suffer any longer. You have built a beautiful life with a man that your Daddy approved of and he knew you’d always be taken care of. He is resting peacefully for sure ♥️🙏🏻♥️

This is so interesting! The city girl becomes a country girl! I grew up in the suburbs but always considered myself a country girl. I said I would never marry a farmer. Low and behold I fell in love with a dairy farmer and learned to drive tractor and milk cows. I even helped deliver a calf. We are no longer farming but still pray for the farmers. My husband is retired and I turned my kids 16x16 feet sandbox into a small garden. Life is good! You and Jason work together so well and it is uplifting to watch your videos.

I love this story and hearing the birth of Cog Hill Farm!! My dad's name was Carl (and I'm Carla). He too was finally diagnosed with kidney cancer in May of 1988 after a series of false diagnoses. They removed his kidney, claiming it was encapsulated with no signs of metastasis. A few months later he started feeling bad again and they discovered it had spread to his liver and beyond. They stated it was too far gone for any kind of chemo to work. He was gone by December 17th, 1988, six days before his 63rd Birthday.

This is so interesting! The city girl becomes a country girl! I grew up in the suburbs but always considered myself a country girl. I said I would never marry a farmer. Low and behold I fell in love with a dairy farmer and learned to drive tractor and milk cows. I even helped deliver a calf. We are no longer farming but still pray for the farmers. My husband is retired and I turned my kids 16x16 feet sandbox into a small garden. Life is good! You and Jason work together so well and it is uplifting to watch your videos.
I love how you and Jason get it done, whatever it is, job wise on the farm. You, Jason, and Mary Carl, are incredible with your animals, sharing your lives with us, and just having fun. Blessings to you guys and all your babies ❤🙏❤

I think you are right, he wanted his little girl to marry Jason before he passed. It’s shame the Drs. made the wrong call. You had a wonderful Dad, Thanks for sharing your story, God bless you. ❤

Bless your Heart Brooke. My Dad was sick most of my life and passed when I was in my late 20's. I miss him and much Mama so much. Its such a relief knowing they're not suffering anymore. I love this story and hearing the birth of Cog Hill Farm!! My dad's name was Carl (and I'm Carla). He too was finally diagnosed with kidney cancer in May of 1988 after a series of false diagnoses. They removed his kidney, claiming it was encapsulated with no signs of metastasis. A few months later he started feeling bad again and they discovered it had spread to his liver and beyond. They stated it was too far gone for any kind of chemo to work. He was gone by December 17th, 1988, six days before his 63rd Birthday.
