uh guys to those of you who are saying that this is a fake phone should definitely do a little re check the back cover of the international version of Samsung galaxy s4 GT-I9500 doesn't have the Samsung galaxy s4 imprinted on its back but the LTE version GT-I9505 does have the imprinted logo
the day I got mine which was like 2.5 years ago, I whipped it about 10 feet by accident and it didn't break. I dropped it out of the car and it didn't break. I drop it all the time and it never breaks.
+Abby Lynn Yeah same! Also havent you realized that when an iphone breaks he doesnt care and doesnt wanna show it but when a samsung breaks he is all like look at that crack! He does that when an iphone shatters at like 2 feet and a samsung wont or barely crack at 5-6 feet. Cause samsung is way stronger than apple! samsung is awesome!!!
Riley Bolstad I'm tempted to disagree. In that video (Fake vs Real comparison) an annotation did say that the UNLOCKED version of the Real S4 didn't have the inscription in the bottom of the back. Did you notice some other detail that indicates it's fake? I may have missed something..
Riley Bolstad also in that fake / real comparison you can see that on the fake one it only says samsung on the back, on the real one it also says galaxy s4
This is why it is important to buy a case that stands off a bit from the screen, I recommend any OtterBox cases, they are amazing, and highly shock resistant.
You should really try to perform drop tests on the same kind of floor. The texture of the stony floor in this test would do a lot more damage than if you dropped this phone on a flat surface. The protruding stones put pressure on a specific spot on the screen of the phone, almost concentrating the force of the impact. So yeah, wonder how the phone would perform in a drop test on a smooth surface...
This is an unlocked version. Unlocked versions do not have the Galaxy S4 writing. Also, did you not notice that the fake one was a dummy phone? It didn't even have a display
what did you do to this phone after the drop test?, do you just use it or sell it or anything else?, I'm just curious, please answer me, thank you. *sorry for any broken english
I still use a galaxy s4 and bought a 5 dollar plastic case and ive dropped it 3 times on concrete. The phone still is in flawless condition and the case only chipped out a tiny bit of paint no dents or anything to the case. It's pretty amazing actually. It's a little beefy but slimmer than a lifeproof or otterbox and way cheaper. This handles better than the $100 lifeproof case I bought for my old iphone 5c. After a year the rubber on the case just fell apart little by little until eventually it became so weak to where the case just entirely fell apart.
dude the s4 still showed improvements on dropping over the s3. idk why you were surprised that it would break if it landed on its face. and even when it was dropped on its face, the glass didnt crack as much as the s3
This reminds me of the car commercials that state average fuel consumption, but no one ever finds out under what conditions do these numbers really count (like 0 wind speed, automatic transmittion etc). Samsung could easily defend itself on your post by saying that this glass could survive a hit or a force of xx Nt without specifying what does that mean. They could possible state that it really survive a drop of xxx ft only if it falls with the back down. Again there is nothing to be surprised.
And this is why Galaxy S4 decided to use a dim display under the Sun. It discourages people to use the phone outdoor, where most of the floor has sharp edges and not smooth. Samsung is so ingenious!
Even tho Gorilla Glass 3 may be stronger the companies use that to make it thinner on the phones so you still end up with roughly the same strength screen. If the manufactures would stop making each iteration of Gorilla Glass thinner then you would see better resistance to shattering.
Although correct in your theory, I kinda liked the test as a facsimile to a "real world" field test. Samsung would have done all that kind of scientific benchmarking before during the planning/construction stage.
The first galaxy was actually very well made and I like the overall design better than the other galaxies, but the others have a much better system and battery life
Thanks for video....Phone makers really should start developing a more durable clear screen material. A lot of people like myself shatter screens from phone drops, while exiting our vehicles. There is so much money to be made, by creating durable phones that look nice. Just my 2 cents!!!
Imagine if you're at top of bulding, or beside the balcony, and you accidentally drop it. It would be really suck if it crashes, losing all your contacts and some other stuff inside your phone. And then you need to buy again another phone.. Imagine if you have an accident, car crash or something, and you're stuck inside the car and no one is around you, but then you still have your phone functioning even after the crash, so you can still call the police and get your life saved..Think far, man.
Seriously! The GG screen can take impact only to a certain extent and also has very high scratch resistance. Dropping on a pavement will crack the glass of any modern smartphone!
I've wondered how much of it could be due to the bigger screen, like back in school playing pencil break little pencil beats longer pencil. Even with GG3 the bigger surface area may affect how easy it is to break idk.
Yes...i also drop my iPhone 4s when getting out from my car but no scratches was made even on the screen seems that iPhone still the leader in durability.
Hey man, no offence but gorilla glass doesn't mean that the screen is unbreakable.. Do you think that bulletproof jacket could stop a sniper rifle? Its nothing to be surprised. Phones aren't designed to be dropped many times from our hands like cars are not designed to survive an accident with 200km/h.
think about it though, before I buy any phone, I look at drop and scratch tests to make sure that I know exactly how careful im gonna need to be with my (expensive) purchase. There is a market for this madness you see here. I, for one - am grateful that I don't have to find out the heartbreaking way.
People moaning about him dropping it... Someone's got to test it so people like me can have a look how durable the phone is... People should stop complaining...
i know this is a drop test video but i always wondered why you buy a $200 dollar phone just to break it serious question like do you have multiple phones? is it worth breaking it?
One last question besides the obvious differences like the the name on the back and the yellow thingy. What is another difference from like is the clone slower than the real one , is the clone smaller, can the clone break faster questions like that please help?
a friend of mine dropped that phone from the 5th floor, and the screen exploded on the concrete, but it was still working, and the call he was making at that moment was still going on, so I guess that phone is stronger than that ^^
if your going to buy such an expensive phone treat it with care when you purchased it you should have bought an otterbox defender series case or trident kraken ams doesnt matter either one both are top of the line cases that will give your phone extra protection just for mishaps like that and you should have had a warranty phones larger than 4 in. if dropped (without case) will be severly destroyed
Do a 80" 4k TV drop test please.
FIGNAS83 Honestly that would be epic
@@SapphireTech1 how is he supposed to drop that lmao
@@someperson1767out a window. Say your SO is mad and pushes it out.
Thanks man!

Its a drop test so why does it matter whether it's unlocked or 16gb
because the unlocked s4's do not have a logo.
so he was probably just saying that so viewers understand that the phone isn't fake or whatever.
I was surprised too! Well done real world drop test. Thx for posting.
the day I got mine which was like 2.5 years ago, I whipped it about 10 feet by accident and it didn't break. I dropped it out of the car and it didn't break. I drop it all the time and it never breaks.
I dropped it on the concrete only once and it broke
I dropped it on the concrete only once and it broke
Me too
Just like mine. I drop it a million times and it doesnt break
I have s4 mini and it has survived extreme conditions over 6 years
I still have one of these and i am using it right now.
Me too and im replying from one
wow, i have an s4 and i can say that many times it fels from my pocket and sometimes it was a front drop and it doesnt even have a scrach

maybe, in concrete it scratch a bit the corners. Sorry for my english
By Rad corners and back get scratched like hell anything gets scratch on concrete as long as its plastic or glass or something

Techrax, thanks for risking your S4 to take some test.. like fall test, gorilla glass, or water glass test.
I have a galaxy s4 and it hurts me to watch this
Same
Especially when my S4 is 5 years old, soon 6
Fernando Quintero I have the mini
man ur vids are the best , fuck the haters
Yeah that's a fake phone
How so?
If you watch the video that he says the difference between a real and fake phone and its his exact description of the fake phone.
Okay, thanks for the info.

Waste of money and time! :/
You're an oxygen thief.
Meaty Gaming Who?
If it is me y?
He doesn't pay for it, sponsors pay for the phones for strictly drop test/destruction. So yeah
Wow, gotta tey this nu skill! Proud to have it!
That phone is fake
No it is real
nice and good test man!
That a fake phone
Christian Martinez I have thar phone

Hi techrax, when you will test htc one m7 drop test? and thank you for this test
good to see and good to know how it can handle these drops
Whether it's a fake or a real one it's going to be scratched anyways!!
It felt like you're throwing my HEART!! -_-
I like the part where u say "Stay tuned for more destruction videos" :D
This is an unlocked version. Unlocked versions do not have the Galaxy S4 writing. Also, did you not notice that the fake one was a dummy phone? It didn't even have a display

My heart just stopped every time it hit the ground.
I'm here hugging mine like "don't worry baby, that won't happen to you."
Yes. My Galaxy Ace with Gorilla Glass 1 doesn't break in drops but it gets scratched easily!
I still use a galaxy s4 and bought a 5 dollar plastic case and ive dropped it 3 times on concrete. When you say: 3, 2, 1, I close my eyes, I can t watch this dude!
You guys know how many people wish to have a galaxy s4 :/ any way nice vid
Hey don't forget the S2.... it's also a boss when is comes to these.
This reminds me of the car commercials that state average fuel consumption, but no one ever finds out under what conditions do these numbers really count (like 0 wind speed, automatic transmittion etc). That moment when you twitch as soon as you hear the impact of the phone to the ground... :(
good work dude
I know right! U are a smart person fella!
samsung did a great job here. The back panel is not removed after all the drops.
I dropped my s4 few years ago at work while driving a forklift. Ran it over and did no damage. Love this phone. It had a defender Otterbox case too.
Wow not bad at all seriously not a scratch from those drop and the glass didnt break except when it landed on its face awsome phone
And this is why Galaxy S4 decided to use a dim display under the Sun. It discourages people to use the phone outdoor, where most of the floor has sharp edges and not smooth. Samsung is so ingenious!

This phone knows how to do some skating moves....
dude you have to appriciate your thing.
He’s shaking the camera because he is scared. 😂
😂

your heart got crushed? my heart just exploded Dx
guys , I have an apple iphone 4 since 2011 and the screen still like a new one !! that's why I luv iphone ;)
brings back memories
I'm glad I watched this, so I can be careful with my s4
My S4 is old and stronge
Seriously! The GG screen can take impact only to a certain extent and also has very high scratch resistance. Dropping on a pavement will crack the glass of any modern smartphone!
Jealous bro?
I will say the Galaxy s5 is real durable. I dropped mine many times on straight concrete in my ceramic class and it would never crack at all.
This was a heartbreaking video I WANT THIS PHONE SOO MUCH
What camera do you use???? Please answer back
I've wondered how much of it could be due to the bigger screen, like back in school playing pencil break little pencil beats longer pencil. Even with GG3 the bigger surface area may affect how easy it is to break idk.
i think that the important part of the gorilla glass is that its less noticeable when the screen is on
Do you post this before or after you have claimed on your insurance
Yes...i also drop my iPhone 4s when getting out from my car but no scratches was made even on the screen seems that iPhone still the leader in durability.
my small heart can't bear
Good video I Have the Note 1 but S4 look's great B)
don't forget next episode to stand and jump over it :)
Gorilla gass original seems to be the strongest.
I have my accident drop it a few times face down with both my S and S2 without the screen shattering
you have never been drunk, sir.
Guys it the unlocked version so it doesnt have any carrier branding on it. Its like that with all phones. Its not fake.
You know it's going to fast-break when the video lasts 2:04
I wanted to cry! I love my s4 and he just drops it...well I know it's for the video but omg
This is an unlocked version. It's real.
It`s interesting how your comment was posted 5 days ago and it has exactly 5 likes.

he said, that's the unlocked (international) version, that doesn't have that Galaxy S4 Logo on the bottom back
The International GS4 doesn't have the writing on the back, only de USA versions says GS4 on the back
are these just extra phones or their actuall personal phones?
This is so fun to watch on my iPhone 5s.
i know this is a drop test video but i always wondered why you buy a $200 dollar phone just to break it serious question like do you have multiple phones? is it worth breaking it?

Would like to have seen a side test, camera towards the bottom
a friend of mine dropped that phone from the 5th floor, and the screen exploded on the concrete, but it was still working, and the call he was making at that moment was still going on, so I guess that phone is stronger than that ^^

Shattered Life Companion. Any phone, no matter how good, will crack if subjected to the ordeal you guys are demonstrating.
youtube adsense DUH. Now he can buy 2 more only from this video
my s4 fell off my hand in school perfectly on front screen, thank God there was no single scratch on that
In my S4 I have 2 holes, want them?
One question...Are you buying all these phones with your own money ? Without any sponsors or something ?
