I got the GP17 (last year's with a 3080ti.) The computer is a beast. I finally used the liquid cooling and even sitting by a space heater and doing tons of vfx renders, the laptop was cool to the touch and the fans were barely running. Plus Eluktronics customer service is the best I've ever encountered with any tech product. Send them a question, you get a response well within 1 business day, written in good English and addressing the question asked.
Just got my Mech-17 GP2 4090 4TB 32GB DDR6 about a week ago and had trouble in the beginning with it booting and finally did about 30 minutes after I hit the power button. And it has worked ever since and worked very well with the games I got to play on it. But just tonight I get home after not playing a game for a couple of days it hasn’t shown the Eluktronics logo once and will restart itself on it’s own like it’s trying to boot.
If it wasn’t for the loud keyboard and the sub-par screen brightness, the 17 would have definitely been my new laptop. Put a mini-led or at least a 500 nit screen in this thing and have a non-clicky keyboard option, and this would be an extremely compelling buy.
Really like the performance and water cooling. My little tip is design the laptop and make it looks more fantastic just like asus rog, and your products will surely be the best on the market.
@@goldenprince1730 That’s fair and I should see comments like this more often. But the reality is, so much good that I have stood for as a laptop user myself, is right here. I had opportunity with other companies and I took this position here for a reason.
@@ImakulatDeux So if it has its own power supply for the laptop and pump, does this mean the laptop will have a second power supply too, for not using with the pump? One I can leave at home with the pump and one for on the road without the pump? That would be great, getting to just leave the other in my bag instead of having to pack it all up every time.
@@Zandercode Unfortunately no. You run the power supply to the LPP and then there's a short power cable to the computer. It works freaking awesomely though.
Yeah, it's weird that in 2023 they are still selling laptops with only 1 USB C. This one also only has 1 monitor output which is not great. Otherwise though, great computer.
@@petergriffin383 the first year in month 11 i had a screen flicker when i contacted them they said you have to send to us to check after i sent it the issue was with the motherborad have to be replaced since the cpu and the gpu were soldered they were replaced also .and they send it back after that in a few month the screen just died on me with no reason at all and the battery got puffy .
@@petergriffin383I just bought a 4090 laptop well fingers crossed mixed signals but whatever I'll roll the dice. Capital one has me if they're sketchy.

Prometheus XVI G2 is on deck, getting mine !
What a nice video!! Which program do you use to make this kind of video's?
Looks interesting, hope to see reviews soon. I asked some questions on the Reddit post.

There’s nothing like it! After using one of these, everything else is annoying 😂
does the lpp placement matter for performance like this video suggests?
@@ACE112ACE112 It’s not a sealed unit so it will need to lay flat. Hose length is short.
Will we see any 18 inch laptops with the LPP?
Come on give me a break you are really on their payroll . This brand is just not woth it .

Got the AMD 3070 ti version, i will never go anywhere else
Are these laptops the same as the Machenike laptops? Im planning to get one
What’s the relation between Eluktronics and the Chinese brand Mechrevo? Their appearance are so similar, do they use the same moulds ?
When will the option for 6400mhz boost in RAM for mech16gp available?
Does lpp 2 have power adapter built in and what's the weight of whole set-up?
Yup, it's pass through power. It has it's own power supply built to support the laptop and pump.

No 4K screens?
It is very cool
WTB one without a mechanical keyboard and another Thunderbolt 4/USB-C port to replace one of the Type-A's or just somewhere else.
Check out cyber power pc no mech keyboard and 2900 for 4090 I did order from Eluktronics though . Better support and bios

Like how these are cheaper than last years 3080 tis 😂
?? I got my 3080ti for $2,800. This, with similar specs except the top 4090, is $3,796. Still a great value but not less than the 3080.
Will never ever buy anything from this company i had a really bad experience with their products.
What happened? I'm about to order their 4090 laptop
