RokBogorosStuntrider: Very nice! I just checked out your stuff and eyeballing the Ignition and Clutch cover protection. If I get those, they will be from your site. Thanks!!!
Jake Sanchez: Thanks! My understanding is that you do not need a tune with these two additions. The bike runs great. Once there is a better market for a header pipe and cat delete I will make a move to get one. At that point you will need a tune. I have had good experience with piggy back fuel management systems like Rapid Bike and may go that route.
Could you give me more info about the gasket? Did you install a gasket on the pipe at 1:36 as it comes attached OEM and the chamber delete could have air leaks/backpressure issues without a gasket, wanted to know more because I have a decat pipe for my 21' Duke 390 and I have to break the gasket to install my pipe. Is it detrimental to engine life? Will it run fine without a tune? Maybe a Fuel X Pro module would be sufficient enough to tune the AFR of the bike? Another doubt I had is with foreign substances going down my exhuast, in the Indian unit of the 21' Duke 390, theres a small hole at the bottom of the black box chamber to let out any water that might go through the exhuast. Im a bit worried though with a decat pipe!
Heramb Agarwal: good questions! If you look at 1:54, see the silver mesh gasket in the stock chamber. I had to fish that out very carefully with the thinnest flat head screwdrivers I have, a razor blade, and pliers. I got it out relatively intact and reused it and it works fine. No leaks that I can tell. I am still using the stock header pipe with stock cat so it does not appear it needs a tune with this set up. I recently did about 200miles in the Texas hill country and it ran flawlessly. When I delete the cat and get a new header I will certainly get a tune. I have had great experiences with fuel modules on my other bike and works just fine.
Alex Rangel: Yeah, I did the three twisted sisters and it was a blast! Just had to wind it up to make those steep grades lol! But sooo nimble…great fun!

sawadat: probably one out there. The box I deleted is not the cat but the silencer chamber. The cat and the header pipe are one piece. If you are referring to the silencer chamber it’s just two bolts on the top and a long bolt underneath to drop the box. Then, just loosen the header bolts so the box can move down and forward to remove.
@@tebuchenself2882 yes I meant that exactly silencer chamber ,I was trying to remove it without unscrew the two bolts behind the radiator but it didn’t workout
It’s a generic one off of eBay for the previous model Ktm. Minor mods and fits well. Does the job for about $20. There may be better choices out there now.

Grim: I got the exhaust hanger for the Akra and it looks and fits awesome! The works chamber delete is designed for the 390 Duke but fits on the RC. I reused long stock bolt that held the stock silencer chamber in place and ran it thru the werkes chamber delete bolt hole. It’s solid. Did many miles in Texas hill country and recently ran it hard at track day with zero issues.
@@tebuchenself2882 Awesome glad to hear it. I can do just the ak slip on right? I might do a chamber delete down the road but I want to do the slip on asap, wish there were more options out there.
Saurabh Keswani: The bike does feel lighter and more flickable. If there are power gains it is too small for me to tell. I do plan on deleting the cat with a more flowing header. Also, making air filter and/or box changes. Then flash the ecu or using a fuel controller like RapidBike.
Akash M: No, I did not. From my understanding, I do not need one until I delete the cat. The cat is integrated in with the header pipe and still on the bike. I have rode about 300 miles with the set up and it runs great!
Alejo Tous: RC390 is classed as a super sport whereas the Duke 390 is classed as a Naked. The Duke390 has handle bars and you sit at a more upright position.
