The final Question is : How does one now use this booklet to deliver to would be clients? Do you upload it and where , how ? Do you attaché it in e-mails , do you upload it to personal websites, do you upload it to Adobe cloud and how do you PASS IT ON / ?
This is an informative and thoughtful video, however, after spending an hour learning this, it is a paid yearly service to have this. I already pay 63 a month for adobe creative suite and seems like this video is misleading that you can do this with Adobe Express. You CAN BUT you can't download the file and it has to be linked to Simplebooklet and if you dont pay it has ads over it. I think that information would be helpful for you to disclose at the beginning of the video. Or clarify that this is a pay for service. If I am wrong please correct me. Thank you.
Thx for the Video :) Question: Did anyone noticed, when you upload a PDF into Adobe Express, the conversion could change fonts or either element's composition? That's a risk if you have a multiple page PDF, probably you won't pick the change. So, guys check carefully the document after conversion.
Yes, it really messed-up the line spacing and line length in a PDF that I uploaded. I really don't want to have to create outlines of text on every page. Doesn't seem like Express is ready yet.
Ciao Angelo, could you make some other videos that explain how to create a multimedia brochure starting from indesign? Create something dynamic and eye-catching! Thank you always for your kindness and professionalism
Great demo but, as 1975 Stav said (below) express messed-up the line length and line spacing on a PDF I uploaded. Doesn't look like Express is ready yet. Actually, I think I should've said that Simplebooklet messed-up the text?
It's common for text, line and character spacing to shift when exporting from InDesign or uploading a PDF from InDesign. Often times it's subtle and other times it's more pronounced. I haven't found a solution to why this happens but hopefully it's resolved because it's not ideal to have to typeset when you already did it in InDesign. It's not a Simplebooklet issue. It's the transition from Id to Express.
Very interesting topic. I did not know about Add-ons. It would have been helpful at the end to show how to share the flip book when you are done. Can you put it on your own website for viewing?
Thanks! You can check out my previous video on Simplebooklet, which covers how to share the flipbook after its published. There are many great ways, embedding to your website being one of them. ruclips.net/video/cqEaVDa-PO4/видео.htmlsi=a3WI-5W3UA_ianqE
Hello, Angelo. It's an excellent tutorial. My main issue is whether this is free on the Flipbook platform or if we have to pay according to their package.
I am a children’s book author and have 30 books. Just setting up a website and as well as offering links to purchase my books on Amazon, was considering offering flip books in lieu of pdfs for purchase? Is this possible with simple books?
I have a 50 page flipbook sized 1080x1920 but it won't export to Simple Booklet? I get an error message - is it because of the page count? I had to flatten the PDF for it to not change my fonts/layout on me. Please advise. Thank you.
Hi Kathy. There isn't a cap on pages for free plans, if that's what you're using so it must be something else. You're using the Express plug-in? Maybe uninstall, and try installing again. I am not too sure what's happening in your case.
Sure! When you're in Express just search Book Cover and there are many templates OR you can start from scratch on your own. The cool thing with Express is it also has Margins and Bleeds built in and you can export a print-ready PDF.
That's a good question. I don't know if there's a platform that allows that but it's not possible in Simplebooklet. You have to choose one flip style throughout.
Yes it can be downloaded as a PDF after it's been published to Simplebooklet. However, enhancements added in Simplebooklet, won't work for PDF Interactive.
Nice tips! I have already tried to do it but when I search the Simple Booklet add ons, It appear a message that it is anymore available... Does anybody know how to resolve it?

Very cool. I'm putting together a flipbook for the 338 pinball tables installed on my Virtual Pinball Cabinet. This is perfect. Thank you!
That sounds like a cool project! Thanks!

i want to know, does this plugging works in Indesign CC (2017)? thanks great tutorial!
Thanks so much for sharing this! Great tutorial, as usual.
Thanks Valerie! I am glad you found it helpful!
Danke!
You are very kind. Thank you!
ThX. Very interesting that Adobe supports third party plugins. Never thought of this.

Hi Francesco! Thanks for the tutorial suggestion. What do you mean by multimedia brochure starting from InDesign?
can we are publishing this on the github page system

@@AngeloMontilla I think the solution is Issuu. Your demos are great, I wish Simplebooklet was the same.

THANK YOU , Can you please give me a link to the cover image?
Hello, Angelo. It's an excellent tutorial. My main issue is whether this is free on the Flipbook platform or if we have to pay according to their package.
Hi there. I believe you get 1 free flip book upload with the free plan. You can still share or embed this once it's on the Simplebooklet platform.
@@AngeloMontilla Thank you so much for your response. I really appreciate it.
Hola Angelo, consulta el FLOWPAPER sirve como pluing para Adobe indesign? Saludos!
Hello. This is not a Flowpaper plug-in. You will see how you can get your InDesign layouts to Express and convert to flipbooks in the video.
Is it possible to download this type of flip book onto a usb and have it work… obviously without the buttons and form additions.
I am a children’s book author and have 30 books. Just setting up a website and as well as offering links to purchase my books on Amazon, was considering offering flip books in lieu of pdfs for purchase? Is this possible with simple books?
it changed all of my font? how do i prevent that from happening
With Simple Booklet, can you control what pages the customer can print? Or can they just print anything?
Hey Caroline. You still have the capability to download the PDF for printing.
I have a 50 page flipbook sized 1080x1920 but it won't export to Simple Booklet? I get an error message - is it because of the page count? I had to flatten the PDF for it to not change my fonts/layout on me. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi, when I try to install the add-ons, it says Unavailable. Do you know why?
Do you if you can print a hardcover book from adobe express?
Sure! When you're in Express just search Book Cover and there are many templates OR you can start from scratch on your own. The cool thing with Express is it also has Margins and Bleeds built in and you can export a print-ready PDF.
is it possible to combine 2 flip styles in 1 file?
That's a good question. I don't know if there's a platform that allows that but it's not possible in Simplebooklet. You have to choose one flip style throughout.
@@AngeloMontilla thank you
Hello Angelo:
When I try to install them on my system it tells me that it is not available, could it be that it is only available in USA?
Hi Miguel. I am in Canada, so that shouldn't be an issue. Are you logged in Adobe Express?
can I download it after it is designed?
Yes it can be downloaded as a PDF after it's been published to Simplebooklet. However, enhancements added in Simplebooklet, won't work for PDF Interactive.
Nice tips! I have already tried to do it but when I search the Simple Booklet add ons, It appear a message that it is anymore available... Does anybody know how to resolve it?
Hello. I just tested it out with another account and it's there. You can trying searching as two words, Simple Booklet.
Unfortunately, if you have interactive content, it is not able to show it :(
Can you export it as a web page? Or host it somewhere on a website (not Adobe Express)
Yes, there's an option to host the project on your own site. You'll see that once it's published and you go into the sharing options.
Thank you so much!
Super Video, Danke!
Genial!!
if the plugin is Flowpaper.. no need to cover it. No interacivity at all with it. Oops. Sorry about the spoiler. 😅
Not Flowpaper 🙂
It is not a free plugin unfortunately.
That's correct. However, the basic plan allows you to create one flipbook.
good one ❤ give me a hug to grow
